Italianizzazione del termine francese "berceau" che in<strong>di</strong>ca una<br />
copertura a botte; nel <strong>lessico</strong> usato per i giar<strong>di</strong>ni si riferisce ad<br />
un pergolato voltato corrispondente ali' antica cerchiata. Nell'<br />
uso italiano attuale designa comunemente un pa<strong>di</strong>glione voltato<br />
a cupola.<br />
