NOTTURNO SULLA LAGUNA VENETA<br />
Nel canto <strong>ch</strong>e lo zeffiro raduna<br />
e <strong>ch</strong>e mi giunge con blandizie al core,<br />
sento vibrare il fremito d’amore<br />
<strong>ch</strong>e commuove la veneta laguna.<br />
Ondeggia mollemente al par di cuna<br />
l’agile gondoletta...Nel <strong>ch</strong>iarore<br />
de la notte gli accenti del cantore<br />
ascolta pur Diana l’importuna...<br />
Io seguo il gondolier sul Canal Grande,<br />
ove spec<strong>ch</strong>iansi, al raggio di Selene,<br />
i dormienti palagi. Oltre si spande<br />
la barcarola <strong>ch</strong>e vanisce lene<br />
verso il magico Ponte dei Sospiri,<br />
tra carezze di sogni e di desiri...
