ELLEVI è nata nel 1994 dall'esperienza di Lorenzo Valvassura, componente del “ CLUB AZZURRO CANNA DA RIVA ” della 

Federazione Italiana Pesca Sportiva nel 1991 e 1992.

Lorenzo Valvassura si avvale dell'esperienza di suo fratello Fernando, molto conosciuto a livello internazionale, che è considerato

USO E PREPARAZIONE DELLA PASTURA 

USE AND PREPARATION OF GROUNDBAIT 

L'USO DELLA PASTURA NELLA PESCA SPORTIVA 

La funzione della pastura è quella di attirare i pesci nella vostra zona di pesca dove troveranno ad attenderli la vostra canna armata di lenza, ami ed esca. 

Quando andate a pescare, oltre ad affidarvi all'esperienza che vi suggerisce quali sono le attrezzature più idonee al luogo di pesca, bisogna utilizzare una pastura 

specifica per il tipo di pesce che si vuole catturare. Esistono in commercio pasture già pronte per l'uso oppure da usare dopo averle miscelate con l'acqua per 

ottenere la consistenza più adatta al luogo ed al tipo di pesca. 

La composizione delle pasture si basa su alcuni componenti fondamentali che, uniti fra loro nella giusta proporzione insieme a sostanze aggreganti e disgreganti, 

formano una miscela che può attirare un tipo di pesce più di un altro. 

Tutti i componenti delle pasture ELLEVI sono assolutamente naturali e le formule sono state preparate con gli ingredienti che si sono rivelati più catturanti, grazie 

all'esperienza diretta sui campi di gara, dove l'agonismo porta all'esasperazione della ricerca di sostanze che attirino maggiormente i pesci. Il segreto di una 

buona pastura è il giusto equilibrio nelle dosi degli ingredienti utilizzati; è importantissimo stuzzicare l'appetito dei pesci, senza, però, mai saziarli. 

COME SI PREPARA LA PASTURA 

La prima cosa da fare sul luogo di pesca è la preparazione della pastura. Questo è fondamentale anche nel caso di pasture già umidificate pronte per l'uso, poiché 

la giusta regolazione d'acqua si può fare soltanto sul luogo di pesca. 

La pastura deve essere preparata prima di montare le canne, almeno mezz'ora/un'ora prima di cominciare a pescare, per dar modo agli sfarinati di assorbire 

l'acqua e stabilizzarsi. 

Eventuali ingredienti aggiuntivi dovranno essere miscelati alla pastura prima di inumidirla per far sì che gli sfarinati si amalgamino fra loro in modo omogeneo. 

L'acqua dovrà essere aggiunta a poco a poco alla miscela di sfarinati, avendo cura di dosarla in modo da ottenere una pastura né troppo liquida né troppo dura. 

Dopo una preventiva bagnatura, consigliamo di lasciare riposare il composto, la giusta umidificazione dovrà essere regolata al momento dell'uso. 

Dopo aver bagnato ed amalgamato il composto ottenuto, consigliamo di passarlo attraverso un setaccio a maglie medio-fini, per evitare la formazione di grumi. 

Nella stagione calda, bisogna avere l'accortezza di non esporre il contenitore della pastura ai raggi del sole, poiché questo potrebbe modificarne la giusta 

umidificazione e “cuocere” gli ingredienti. 

Specialmente nella pesca in fiume, canale e lago si consiglia di inserire nella pastura anche l'esca che sarà utilizzata, nella misura del 5-10% del volume. Questo 

accorgimento, oltre ad aumentare il potere di attrazione della pastura, renderà più naturale, agli occhi del pesce, l'esca che nasconde all'interno l'amo della 

vostra lenza. 

LANCIO DELLA PASTURA 

Bisogna stare molto attenti a dove si lancia la pastura. Prima di gettarla in acqua, infatti, bisogna osservare attentamente da che parte tira la corrente e la sua 

intensità, per evitare di pasturare fuori della vostra zona di pesca. 

Porgere particolare attenzione nelle giornate ventose, poiché potreste essere tratti in inganno dalla corrente in superficie creata dal vento, mentre in profondità 

l'acqua si sposta in direzione contraria. 

Inizialmente consigliamo di lanciare 5-6 palle grosse come arance; in seguito, dopo aver incominciato a pescare, sarà sufficiente gettare, ad intervalli regolari, 

palle grandi come noci. 

Se pescate in acque correnti, si consiglia di schiacciare le palle di pastura, per evitare che rotolino sul fondo, uscendo dalla vostra zona di pesca. 

Prima di lanciare la pastura in acqua, bisogna fare molta attenzione alla pressione che si dà alle palle. Le pasture ELLEVI sono state miscelate in modo da 

ottimizzare al massimo la loro “meccanica”, vale a dire la capacità di aprirsi in superficie o in profondità a seconda che diate più o meno pressione alla palla di 

pastura. 

Prima di decidere la vostra strategia di pasturazione è necessario fare un'ultima ma non meno importante considerazione: il tempo a disposizione. Se la durata 

della vostra uscita di pesca è limitata a poche ore, bisognerà formare palle di pastura non troppo consistenti sia per dimensione sia per compattezza. Se, al 

contrario, avete la fortuna di trascorrere un'intera giornata sul luogo di pesca, è consigliabile “fare il fondo”, lanciando inizialmente palle di pastura più grandi e 

compresse, per poi alimentare in modo regolare la zona di pesca, gettando palline più piccole e meno consistenti. 

USE OF GROUNDBAIT IN ANGLING 

The function of groundbait is to attract fish in your fishing zone where it will find to wait for your rod armed by line, hooks and bait. 

When you go fishing, besides be guided by your own experience suggesting you which are the most suitable tackle for the fishing place, you have to use a specific 

groundbait for the kind of fish you want to catch. 

On the market there are ready for use groundbaits or else to be used after having mixed them with water in order to obtain the dough most suitable to the place 

and the type of fishing. 

The groundbaits are made of some basic ingredients, which mixed among them in the right ratio with thickening and breaking up substances, originate a mixture 

which can attract a kind of fish more than another. 

All the components of ELLEVI groundbaits are absolutely natural and their formulas have been set up with the ingredients which showed themselves the most 

attractive, thanks to direct experiences made in fishing competitions, where competition spirit inclines to exasperation in the research of substances which can 

mostly attract fish. The secret of a good groundbait is the right ratio among the components mixed: it's extremely important that fish's appetite is aroused but 

never satisfied. 

HOW TO PREPARE GROUNDBAIT 

When you are in the fishing place firstly you have to prepare your groundbait. That is basic also in the case of using already moist ready-for-use groundbaits, 

since the right degree of humidity can be regulated only in the fishing place. 

Groundbait has to be mixed with water before assembling the rods, as much as a half-one hour before beginning to fish, in order to let the meal ingredients 

absorb water and stabilize. 

Eventual additive ingredients have to be mixed with groundbait before humidifying it in order to amalgamate components homogeneously among them. 

Water has to be added to the powdered mixture a little bit at time taking care of measuring out the correct quantity in order to obtain a groundbait neither too 

liquid nor too thick. 

After a previous wetting, we suggest to let the mixture resting, the correct degree of humidity will be regulated at the moment of use. 

After wetting and amalgamating the obtained mixture, we suggest you pass it through a middle-thin meshed sieve in order to remove any lump. 

In hot weather we suggest you to prevent groundbait vessel from exposing to the sunlight since that could change the correct degree of humidity or, worse, 

“cook” ingredients. Especially in freshwater fishing we suggest you to introduce also the bait you will use in the groundbait, in the quantity of 5-10% of its 

volume. Besides increasing attractive power of groundbait, in the fish's eyes this shrewdness gives the bait a more natural presentation even if the bait hides 

inside the hook of your rig. 

HOW TO THROW GROUNDBAIT 

It's necessary to be very careful where you throw groundbait. Before throwing it in the water, in fact, you have to observe attentively where the stream moves 

and its force, in order to prevent the groundbait from going out of your fishing zone. 

Be particularly careful in windy days, because the surface stream, caused by wind, might be deceptive while the depth stream moves in the opposite direction. At 

the beginning we suggest you throw 5-6 balls of groundbait as big as oranges, then, when you are fishing, every now and then it will be enough to throw a little 

ball as big as a nut. If you fish in running waters we suggest you flatten the balls to prevent them from rolling on the bottom going out of your fishing zone. 

Before throwing groundbait in the water, you have also to be careful how much you press the balls by your hand. ELLEVI groundbaits have been developed in 

order to exploit their ”mechanics” to the utmost, that means they will break up in the depth or in surface according to harder or softer pressing groundbait balls. 

Before deciding your way of throwing groundbait strategy it's necessary to make a last but not least reflection: the time you have to yourselves. If you can fish for 

a short time you have to make the balls of groundbaits not too big and thick. On the contrary, if you are lucky to spend a whole day in the fishing-place, we suggest 

you “make the bottom” throwing firstly bigger and thicker balls and then feed fishing zone with regularity, throwing smaller and softer balls.

in cui vi trovate. Come potete notare, pasture per lo stesso tipo di pesca sono formulate con ingredienti diversi. 

Questo perché, a seconda della zona di pesca, lo stesso tipo di pesce risponde allo stesso ingrediente in modo

ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO: Versare il contenuto della busta in un recipiente, aggiungere acqua a poco a poco fino a 

raggiungere la consistenza desiderata. La pastura è ora pronta per essere usata. PESCA IN SUPERFICIE: aggiungere 

più acqua per fare in modo che la palla di pastura si disgreghi appena lanciata nell'acqua. PESCA A FONDO: 

aggiungere acqua in modo che si possano formare palle di pastura di una certa consistenza che possano 

raggiungere il fondo del mare. La pastura ELLEVI può anche essere usata come esca con ottima tenuta sull'amo: 

versare in un contenitore, aggiungere poco alla volta l'acqua mescolando in modo uniforme. Lavorare con le mani 

l'impasto fino ad ottenere una pasta morbida ed elastica. Formare piccole palline ed innescarle sull'amo. 

ELLEVI GROUNDBAITS are mixtures of special components expressly studied to attract fish in the zone where you 

are fishing. As you can note, groundbaits for the same kind of fish have been formulated using different ingredients. 

That happens because the same kind of fish is attracted in a different way by the same ingredient acconding to the 

different zones where you are fishing. You'll check by yourselves, after testing them, which are the groundbaits most 

suitable to the zone where you are fishing and surely you'll find the formula of ingredients that will allow you to 

achieve the best results when fishing. 

Ingredients of these groundbaits have been studied and mixed in the right ratio among thickeners, breakers and 

proteins in order to obtain very attracting products that are suitable either for competition anglers or for neophytes 

who go fishing for the first time. With regards to use of proteins in angling, our company made in-depth researches 

into fish's nature and feeding habits. Fishes are divided into two basic groups: the “visual feeders” that are generally 

the predators who have visual system much more developed than olfactory system and, on the contrary, the 

“chemosensory feeders” who have a well-developed sense of smell that allows them to detect the presence of food 

at a long distance. For those groups of fishes there are special proteins that increase tenfold attraction and 

stimulation power of groundbaits keeping unchanged fish “eating frenzy” for a long time. 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Put the contents of the envelope in a vessel, add water and mix until obtaining the desired 

dough. The groundbait is now ready to be used. 

1) SURFACE SEA FISHING: Add a little more water so that the mixture ball breaks up as soon as you throw it in the 

water. 

2) DEEP SEA FISHING: Add water to make mixture balls with a consistency that allows them to sink to the bottom.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Reeve a cord or the rope of the anchor to the link of the net and let it under the boat. In case of

occorre inumidire i bigattini: basta versare solo un po' più di polvere ed 

attendere 5 minuti.

light refraction of water. For that reason is almost invisible when it's in the water. This monofilament is completely

heavier than the one of nylon monofilament and this feature allows it to sink much faster. It's suitable for hooklength

Questi micro ganci di acciaio inossidabile sono provvisti di tubetto di silicone e permettono di sostituire velocemente 

il terminale. E' sufficiente infilare il tubetto di silicone sulla lenza madre e legare sulla stessa il micro gancio. I 

terminali già pronti dovranno avere una piccola asola che sarà inserita nel micro gancio e ricoperta dal tubetto di 

silicone. Questo sistema permette di avere a immediata disposizione terminali con diverse misure di monofilo e amo

Suggeriamo alcuni “trucchetti” che possono essere messi in pratica sia dal pescatore esperto sia da chi 

utilizza per la prima volta questa tecnica che offre la possibilità di splendide catture. Una volta prescelta la 

zona di pesca e lanciata la lenza con il pasturatore, consigliamo di mettere un elastico che fermi la fuoriuscita 

del filo nello stesso punto della bobina del mulinello. Usando questo accorgimento eviterete di disperdere la 

pasturazione in una zona più vasta del fondale, concentrando i pesci nello stesso punto di pesca così 

continuamente alimentato lancio dopo lancio. Per evitare la fuoriuscita troppo rapida dei vermi è preferibile 

riempire il pasturatore con bigattini incollati preventivamente inumiditi con aroma spray per moltiplicare il 

loro potere di attrazione. Per ottenere lo stesso scopo aggiungendo l'effetto “frenesia alimentare” che rende il 

pesce meno sospettoso, è consigliabile tappare il fondo e la parte superiore del feeder con pastura poco 

umidificata, ponendo nella parte centrale dello stesso i bigattini che saranno liberi di uscire una volta 

raggiunto il fondo, quando la pastura si sarà sciolta. Per le giornate “difficili” quando si vedono poche 

abboccate, un ultimo ma non meno importante accorgimento è quello di gettare un pugno di bigattini in un 

secchio d'acqua raccogliendo le larve che galleggiano e innescandole sull'amo legato su un terminale lungo 

almeno 2 metri. Questa astuzia provocherà l'attacco di pesci anche molto sospettosi assicurando la cattura 

degli stessi anche in giornate da carniere vuoto. 

We suggest some “tricks” that can put into practice either expert angler or who uses the first time this fishing 

method that offers a lot of probabilities of wonderful catches. When you have chosen fishing zone and thrown 

the rig with feeder, in the same position of the reel spool we suggest you put an elastic band that stops the 

monofilament goes out, so in that way you will avoid to waste groundbaiting in a greater area of the sea 

bottom, attracting fish in the same zone that you are continuously feeding throw after throw. To prevent 

worms from going out too quick it's better fill the feeder with stuck maggots after you have wet them with 

spray flavour to increase their attracting power. To obtain the same result, adding “eating frenzy” effect that 

makes fish less suspicious, we suggest to put a small quantity of just a little wet groundbait at the lower part 

and on the top of the feeder putting the maggots in the middle so the worms will go out when the groundbait 

melts at the bottom. We suggest the last but not least “trick” to put into practice in those “difficult days” when 

fish hardly ever bites: put a handful of maggots in a bucket full of water picking up those are floating then 

hook them of the fish-hook tied on a rig almost length 2 meters. That trick will arouse the attack of fish, also 

the most suspicious one, granting you a sure catch.

lenza madre un monofilo con diametro dallo 0,50 allo 0,70 e terminale con ami del 4/0 o 5/0. E' preferibile 

connettere il piombo ad una girella con moschettone scorrevole sulla lenza madre legando a questa il terminale. Le 

prede più comuni di questo tipo di pesca sono dentici, ricciole e cernie. In caso di pesca su poste con grossi gronghi,
