An extensive diagnostics campaign was carried out before restoration with the main aim of planning it.<br />
It involved 8 CNR institutes, 7 Italian universities groups, the ENEA and the OPD.<br />
After the restoration (completed on April 2004) a monitoring program immediately started<br />
