2.0 OPERATING CONDITIONS

With off-load pressures over 5 bar it is
recommended that a pressure reducing valve
as per DIN 1988 is installed in the inlet pipes.
ATTENTION These fittings are not suitable
for use with pressureless hot water boilers.
An extensive balancing of the volume flow (L output)
Hot-Cold should be carried out where flow heaters
are used. See 6.0
Please note the manufacturer’s guidelines!
DIN 1988 must be followed where pipes have been
newly installed!
3.0 PRE-INSTALLATION
Please refer to the scale drawings for sizes and
installation depth.
1/2” connections
Min. installation depth – measured from centre
connection to forward edge tile – 40 mm.
Max. installation depth –
without extension – 55 mm.
Adjustability 15 mm
Please read the instructions on the polystyrene
block and the strip carefully! See Fig. 1
Hot water connection left, cold water
connection right.
Where a diverter is fitted, connect the largest consumer
(bath, overhead shower) to the lower outlet.

ATTENTION The tiles must sit flush with the
polystyrene block so that optimal cover from
the covering plate is guaranteed!
