Smisao ove manifestacije jest da ljudi vide što je more, da nauče u njemu uživati i zabavljati se.BIG OM predstavlja i
važan doprinos krčkome turizmu. Ova manifestacija pridonosi stvaranju turističkog branda otoka Krka i zato se održava
van turističke špice , u rujnu, kako bi i time produžili turističku sezonu.
BIG OM natjecanju prethode brojne manifestacije kojima je za cilj u prvi plan istaći mediteranski ugođaju
"mora i ribe" i užitaka koje nam ovo podneblje pruža.

al divertimento. Il BIG OM rappresenta anche un importante contributo allo sviluppo turistico di Krk. Questa
manifestazione concorre alla creazione di un brand turistico isolano riconoscibile e, svolgendosi a settembre, al
prolungamento della sua stagione turistica.
La competizione BIG OM è preceduta da tutta una serie di eventi che hanno lo scopo di esaltare un ambiente
mediterraneo tutto “mare e pesci” ed il piacere che quest'area marina sa regalarci

BIG OM predstavlja tudi pomemben doprinos turizmu Krka. Ta manifestacija veliko doprinese k ustvarjanju turistične
znamke otoka Krka in zato jo prirejamo izven vrhunca turistične sezone, torej v septembru, saj lahko na tak način
podaljšamo turistično sezono.
Pred pričetkom BIG OM tekmovanja se odvija tudi veliko ostalih manifestacij, katerih namen je poudariti
sredozemsko vzdušje „morja in ribe“ in vse užitke, ki nam jih ponuja to podnebje.
The purpose of this event is for people to learn about the sea, to learn to enjoy it and have fun. BIG OM represents an
important contribution to the tourism on the island of Krk. This event contributes to creating a tourism brand of the island of
Krk. It takes place outside the high season in September thereby extending the tourist season.
BIG OM competition is preceded by a number of events, which aim to emphasize the Mediterranean atmosphere of
„the sea and food“ and the pleasures provided by this region.
Der Sinn dieser Veranstaltung ist, dass Menschen sehen, was das Meer wahrhaftig ist, dass sie lernen, es zu
genießen und daran Spaß zu haben. BIG OM leistet zudem einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Krker Tourismus. Diese
Veranstaltung trägt zur Schaffung einer touristischen Brandmarke der Insel Krk bei, und deshalb findet sie September
außerhalb der touristischen Hochsaison statt, um die Tourismussaison zu verlängern.
Dem BIG OM Wettbewerb gehen zahlreiche Veranstaltungen voran, deren Hauptziel es ist, das mediterrane
Ambiente „Meer und Fische“ und die Genüsse in den Vordergrund zu rücken, die uns dieses Klima bietet.
