Gordana Herold završava I. Gimnaziju 1986 u Sarajevu, gdje je<br />
nekad također Ivo Andrić bio student.<br />
Od 1986-1991 Gordana Herold je student na Filozofskom fakultetu u<br />
Sarajevu, i prima diplomu kao filolog za germanstiku i slavistiku.<br />
1986 -1989 Gordana radi kao voditelj i novinar za državnu radio<br />
stanicu Sarajevo.<br />
1991 radi za Radio Vatikan kao voditelj i novinar u Rimu.<br />
Od 1993 ona radi na različitim filološkim, obrazovnim i kulturnim<br />
projektima. Ona je prva službeno priznata prevoditeljka u Njemačkoj<br />
(1995) za romski jezik.<br />
