In un clima finalmente primaverile si è tenuta nello storico 

Parco della Versiliana, presso il comune di Marina 

di Pietrasanta, il decimo concorso di classe C del Cavallo 

Arabo. La splendida pineta ci ha ospitato nei giorni 

5 e 6 aprile, in concomitanza si è tenuta anche la bella manifestazione 

“L’Arte Del Cavallo”, rassegna equestre che 

ha sempre attratto un buon numero di addetti ai lavori e 

pubblico. Quest’anno un numero non elevatissimo di soggetti 

purosangue arabi hanno dato luogo ad uno spettacolo 

piacevole durante il concorso morfologico nazionale 

di categoria “C” Ecaho. Molto è stato fatto dal comitato 

organizzatore dell’evento, l’Assessorato al Turismo ed allo 

Sport del Comune di Pietrasanta coordinato, per la parte 

tecnica, dal sig. Luciano Borzonasca, per rendere più interessante 

questa manifestazione, si è accomunato la grazia 

e la bellezza del cavallo arabo al fascino del cavallo montato 

con la tipica monta “Western”, con la partecipazione di 

una splendida Natalia Estrada che ha veramente stupito 

per disponibilità e simpatia. 

Chiamati al compito di giudicare i nostri PSA sono stati: 

il Dott. Fausto Scanzi, il sig. Moschini, il sig. Jung Nikolaus. 

Ottimo, come sempre, il lavoro svolto dal sig. Ivo 

Ludi in qualità di ring master, e dalla dr.ssa Elisabetta 

Tizzani, nel ruolo di Commissari Disciplinari e dal sig. 

Maurizio Rio, responsabile A.N.I.C.A. presente all’evento. 

Un elogio speciale va a Miriam Boschini che da sola ha 

fatto da factotum dello show. Vari spettacoli per l’intrattenimento 

dei più piccoli, una fiera eno-gastronomica dei 

prodotti tipici della zona, hanno fatto da cornice alla bella 

gara disputatasi nella due giorni Versiliana, che ha visto in 

campo ottimi soggetti. Dopo le categorie preliminari di 

cui Vi proponiamo le classifiche a chiusura dell’articolo 

The tenth edition of the class “C” competition for 

Arabian Horses was held in the historical Versiliana 

Park, in Marina di Pietrasanta, with the weather 

finally turning into spring. On April 5th and 6th, 

at the same time as the competition, the wonderful pinewood 

hosted also another enjoyable event, “L’Arte Del 

Cavallo”, an equestrian show that has always attracted 

a good number of horse lovers and spectators. A good 

number of purebred Arabians took part in the national 

ECAHO “C” conformation show providing great 

entertainment. The organizing committee, the Tourism 

and Sport Office for the Municipality of Pietrasanta 

led, for the technical part, by Luciano Borzonasca did 

a lot to ensure that the event would be as enjoyable as 

possible, combining the grace and beauty of the Arabian 

horse with the charm of horses ridden in the Western 

style. This was headed by the beautiful Natalia Estrada, 

who impressed everyone with her friendliness and 

congeniality. 

The judges called to score our PBAs were Mr. Fausto 

Scanzi, Mr. Moschini and Mr. Nikolaus Jung. Impeccable 

as usual was the job done by Ivo Ludi in his 

capacity as ring master, by Mrs. Elisabetta Tizzani as 

Disciplinary Commissioner and by Mr. Maurizio Rio, 

A.N.I.C.A. Manager attending the event. A special 

mention goes to Miriam Boschini, who did almost everything 

at the show. Children entertainment, a wine 

and food fayre of local products, were collateral events 

to the lovely competition held over two days in the Versilia 

area, which saw very high quality horses on the

conquista i favori del giudici e del pubblico per 

il tipico movimento mentre il titolo di Riserva 

Campione Puledri è stato conquistato da Sahir 

Arabian Stars stud. Aja Santana (Fs Bengali 

x Bey Santeyna), which was recently transferred 

to the Arabian Stars stud, won over 

the judges and the spectators thanks to his type 

and was named Champion Colts, with Sahir 

Psz (WH Justice x Lady Padrona) taking the

a show competitivi del genere il cavallo è allevato 

e di proprietà dall’Az. Agr. Ongarine di 

Pasquali Marina. La Campionessa fattrici è una 

cavalla molto ben conosciuta e con una testa 

sempre più estrema ed asciutta Ania Moniscio- 

Reserve Champion title. This colt, not a new 

face at this type of competitions, was bred and 

is owned by the Ongarine stud farm of Marina 

Pasquali. Champion Mare was a wellknown 

mare whose head is becoming more 

and more extreme and lean: Ania Moniscione

(Wh Justice x Armonia) is bred by Giancar- 

lo Buzzi and owned by Luca Testa. Reserve 

Champion Mare was Sinfonia (Wagner x 

Cri Cri dei Mori), which is accustomed to a 

place on the podium. She is owned by the Arabian 

Stars stud.

Rocchino dell’Arabian Stars unanime il giudizio dei 

giudici è lui il Campione, Riserva Campione il debuttante 

Am Padron Shafa (Padrons Immage x Blint Shafa) che 

conquista ottimi punteggi in tipicità testa e collo un cavallo 

che sicuramente potrà riservare altre future soddisfazioni 

al proprietario Angelo Moretti. Per quanto riguarda 

i futurity è stata disputata solo la categoria delle femmine 

in cui Amir Ashiraf di Michele Boscarino ha dato ampia

The title of Champion Stallion was awarded to Hannibal 

by Gioia (Sdp Taylor x Gioia Aps) owned by the Rocchino 

family of the Arabian Stars stud. All the judges were 

unanimous in naming him Champion. Reserve Champion 

was the novice Am Padron Shafa (Padrons Image x Blint 

Shafa) which obtained excellent scores for type and head 

and neck. His owner Angelo Moretti is certainly going to 

reap many more successes from him. With regards to the 

futurity competition, only the female category was held.

Here, Amir Ashiraf owned by Michele Boscarino was able 

to prove his breeding ability with the victory of Mathab 

(Amir Ashiraf x Tm Nadina) owned by Michele Perillo. 

Reserve Champion was Najaa Ashiraf (Amir Ashiraf x 

Espiria) owned by Francesco Rizzo. 

Congratulations to the winners and the organizers, who 

continue to put in a lot of offert in the preparation of the 

first appointment of the year. Best of luck to everyone at the 

beginning of the season for Italian shows. ❑
