Oggi la sfida del mercato è sul carbonio, un materiale che permette di
spaziare nelle forme e di sfruttare appieno tutta la nostra esperienza di inge-
nieria ciclistica accumulata in oltre sessant’anni di attività.
Il Prince ha dimostrato che nuove forme mai provate da nessuno in passato,
nuove sezioni su punti critici, lo sfruttamento delle angolazioni delle pelli, si
traducono in resistenze e comportamenti su strada mai provati in passato su
un telaio da competizione. Sul Prince e sulla FM1 siamo all’eccellenza perchè
l’utilizzo del carbonio Torayca ® 50HM1K, quindi di resistenza 50 tonnellate
per millimetro quadrato ad alto modulo con intreccio di 1000 fibre per milli-
metro quadrato, ci permette l’utilizzo di meno materiale, meno resine e quindi
spessori ridotti a favore del peso finale. Il Prince infatti nonostante le forme
generose riesce a collocarsi sotto ai 900 grammi nella misura 54.

In fact, in spite of the Prince’s somewhat large appearance a 54 cm. frame
weighs in at less than 900 grams.
