LA STORIA • THE COMPANY`S HISTORY
Bucchi, nata nel 1973 come piccola impresa artigiana operante
nella costruzione di stampi per lo stampaggio ad iniezione di
materiali plastici, si è andata progressivamente evolvendo
organizzandosi come unità di progettazione e produzione di
raccordi, tubi e valvole in materiale termoplastico, in maniera
da diventare sempre più moderna e competitiva, dando rilievo
particolare al miglioramento interno attraverso processi
generatori di Valore. Grazie a questo approccio, oggi la Bucchi
Srl, secondo le UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, ha avuto il riconoscimento
delle proprie attività attraverso un’estensione dell’identità
sociale: progettazione, produzione e commercializzazione di
raccordi e tubi in materiale termoplastico; costruzione dei
relativi stampi.Le nostre applicazioni forniscono la risposta
adeguata ad ogni tipo di necessità attraverso la comprensione
delle esigenze di modernizzazione del mercato.
The Company Bucchi was founded in 1973 as a small craftwork
unit for the manufacture of dies for injection moulding of
plastic materials. It developed with time and became a larger
unit for designing and producing fittings, pipes and valves
of thermoplastic materials; it became more modern and
competitive with the years, also thanks to the process of
constant inner improvement. This made it possible, in recent
years, to be granted recognition of its activity, in conformity
with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000; moreover the Company Bucchi
Srl extended its activity to include: design, production and
marketing of pipes and fittings in thermoplastic materials;
construction of the relevant dies.
Our articles offer the suitable solution to any specific needs as
we try to face new requirements and challenges from an ever
changing market.

A BREAKTHROUGH IN FITTINGS
BDFAST è quanto di più innovativo sia stato inventato nei sistemi
di raccorderia per tubi flessibili: un raccordo a compressione in
Polipropilene che consente la giunzione rapida dei tubi flessibili
eliminando la tradizionale fascetta stringitubo. BDFAST E’ stato
studiato e realizzato per soddisfare le sempre più frequenti
esigenze degli utenti di poter effettuare rapidamente la
giunzione di tubi collegati a macchine/apparecchiature.
Tubi di diametro e spessore diversi vengono bloccati, in
completa sicurezza e con semplicità, grazie ad una particolare
guarnizione interna che si modella perfettamente alle differenti
geometrie del tubo liscio, retinato, spiralato in PVC, spiralato
in PU, con spirale in acciaio, in gomma termoplastica, e ad ogni
altra tubazione flessibile che rientra negli spessori dei raccordi
Grazie alla versatilità e semplicità d’impiego BDFAST è in grado
di soddisfare tutte le esigenze di installazione e le più svariate
necessità di progettazione, garantendo, nel tempo, un’alta
sicurezza di tenuta.
BDFAST is the most innovatory invention in the field of fittings
for flexible hoses: a polypropylene pressure coupling which
permits fast connection of hoses and eliminates the usual pipe
clamp. BDFAST has been designed and produced in order to
face the customers´ requirements to rapidly join hoses to be
connected to machines/apparatus.
This fitting can connect hoses of different diameters and
thicknesses, in a safe and simple way, with the help of a
special inner joint which shapes and adapts itself perfectly
to the different surfaces: smooth hoses, braided hoses, hoses
with PVC spiral, hoses with PU spiral, hoses with steel spiral,
thermoplastic rubber hoses, and any other hoses within the
thickness range of our connections.
BDFAST is actually versatile and simple in use, therefore it can
face all installation needs and the most diverse requirements
in various systems, and at the same time a high degree of
tightness is ensured.

CARATTERISTICHE DEL TUBO FLESSIBILE
Il tubo flessibile in PVC viene sempre più utilizzato nelle
installazioni di piscine perché, rispetto alle tubazioni rigide,
presenta i seguenti vantaggi:
• è facile da trasportare e stoccare
• si può “piegare” e modellare rispetto alle esigenze della
forma della piscina riducendo così il numero delle connessioni
e i costi.
Questo tubo, chiamato comunemente POOL, è costituito
da una sovrapposizione di fettucce di PVC plastificato morbido
con all’interno un filo a spirale di PVC rigido.
Come tutti i tubi flessibili in PVC anche il POOL contiene
olii plastificanti di varia natura. Tali plastificanti, in
forma diversa, tendono a migrare verso l’esterno del tubo
modificandone nel tempo le caratteristiche funzionali ed
inoltre, reagendo chimicamente con gli adesivi utilizzati
per l’incollaggio, nei punti di connessione, possono causare
una riduzione della resistenza del tubo e la possibilità di
perdita d’acqua. Questo fenomeno negli impianti sotterranei
è più lento ma mai eliminato, per cui vedremo una graduale
indebolimento del tubo anche rispetto la forza di spellaltura
dei comuni raccordi a compressione.
FEATURES OF THE FLEXIBLE HOSE
The PVC flexible hose is being used more and more frequently
while installing swimming pools because it offers the following
advantages as compared to rigid pipes:
• It can be easily transported and stored
• It can be “bent” and modelled according to the pool form and
thus the number of connections and costs are both reduced
This hose, which is commonly called POOL, consists in
overlapping soft plasticized PVC tapes, having a rigid spiral
wire inside. Like all PVC flexible hoses, also POOL contains
plasticizing oils of various nature which, in different ways, tend
to migrate towards the outer part of the hose and modify its
characteristics in time; moreover, by chemically reacting with
the adhesives used for glueing the connection points, they can
cause a reduction of hose resistance and possible leakage.
This instance is slower in underground installations, but never
eliminated, so we will notice a progressive weakening of the
hose, also in connection with the peeling force of the usual
compression fittings.

profili esterni diversi

ad alta concentrazione di cloro

semplicità rispetto alla giunzione ad incollaggio
• Sicurezza nella tenuta meccanica: il portagomma interno è
un elemento essenziale, non presente sui comuni raccordi a
compressione, che crea rigidità, consentendo di sostenere il
tubo come una doppia parete, nel punto di tenuta meccanica,
evitando così cedimenti e sfilamenti
• Sicurezza nel tempo: la connessione di BDFAST, al contrario
dei comuni raccordi a compressione in PP e in PVC, produce
una bassa incisione della superficie del tubo evitando così
l’insorgere di punti di rottura.
• Sicurezza di tenuta idraulica: la particolare guarnizione di
BDFAST si adatta perfettamente a qualsiasi profilo esterno
del tubo e ne garantisce la tenuta nel tempo, al contrario dei
comuni raccordi a compressione ove la tenuta è garantita solo
dal perfetto profilo/diametro del tubo e accoppiamento con
l’o-ring che possiede un basso potere di compensazione delle
deformazioni superficiali
• Sicurezza di giunzione del tubo flessibile in PVC con spirale di
rinforzo allo skimmer e rapidità d’installazione
• Sicurezza per la salute e contro eventuali ferite alle mani
• Fissaggio tubo esente da manutenzione
• Rotazione assiale del raccordo per un corretto posizionamento
del tubo grazie ai raccordi femmina, specialmente gomito con
attacco filettato femmina-ghiera mobile
BDFAST POOL: THE ADVANTAGES
• No more adhesives for connecting hoses
• Great versatility: the innovative structure of BDFAST makes
it possible to fasten hoses having the same diameter but
different thickness and different outer profiles
• Easily inspected due to the few and simple, easily
interchangeable components,
• Long life: thanks to the innovative formulation of the raw
materials used in production, which permits use in areas with
high chlorine concentration
• Reduced installation and dismantling times, in a simple way as
compared to the connection with adhesive
• Reliable mechanical tightness: the inner hose nozzle is a vital
element. It is not present in the usual compression fittings, it
produces rigidity, and supports the hose like a double wall in
the point of mechanical tightness, so it prevents failure and
popping-out
• Reliable long life: the BDFAST connection, as against the
common PP and PVC compression fittings, causes a very
slight incision on the hose surface, thus avoiding the onset of
breaking points
• Reliable hydraulic tightness: the special gasket in the BDFAST
perfectly fits on any outer hose profile and ensures tightness
in time, as against the common compression fittings where
tightness is only given by the perfect profile/diameter of
the pipe and the coupling with the O-ring, having a low
compensation of surface deformations.
• Strong junction of PVC hose with reinforcement spiral to the
skimmer, and rapid installation
• Safe for health, and it prevents hand bruises
• Maintenance free hose fastening
• Axial rotation of the fitting for right hose positioning thanks
to the female fittings, chiefly the elbow with threaded female
connection-sliding ring-nut.

mechanical tool, up to 32 mm, which means saving installation
time. Over 32 mm, we recommend using a common chain
wrench.

GARANZIA DEI PRODOTTI WARRANTY
La Bucchi s.r.l., è in possesso di una copertura assicurativa di
primaria compagnia, relativa ad una Polizza di Responsabilità
Civile Prodotti.
La Bucchi S.r.l. garantisce i propri prodotti per un periodo di
dodici mesi, dalla data di consegna del materiale. Nel quadro
di questa garanzia la Bucchi S.r.l. si impegna al risarcimento dei
danni arrecati a persone o cose, riconducibili provatamente a
difetti di fabbricazione, sino alla concorrenza massima di EURO
1.032.913,80.
Ulteriori rivendicazioni non sono riconosciute.La garanzia
predetta ha come presupposto la responsabilità del fornitore
e il rispetto da parte dell’acquirente delle istruzioni
tecniche riconosciute e in particolare dei criteri per
l’installazione/utilizzo dei prodotti a regola d’arte e secondo
le raccomandazioni sulle condizioni d’esercizio indicate nel
presente catalogo tecnico della Bucchi S.r.l.
Nei casi in cui vengano: assemblati raccordi con altri prodotti
aventi filettature con passi diversi rispetto a quelli Bucchi,
utilizzati dei materiali deteriorati dall’incuria e dalla negligenza
(scalfitture, schiacciamenti, stoccaggi in luoghi inadatti, ecc), le
sopramenzionate garanzie perdono la loro validità.
Bucchi s.r.l. products are covered by a leading insurance
company Civil Liability Policy (“Polizza di Responsabilità Civile
Prodotti”).
Bucchi S.r.l. products are guaranteed for a 12 month period.
Warranty coverage begins from product delivery date. On the
basis of this warranty, Bucchi S.r.l. will compensate up to a
maximum of EURO 1.032.913,80 for damages to individuals or
objects that are proved to be related to manufacturing defects.
Any additional claim will not be acknowledged.
The aforesaid warranty implies the supplier is responsible for
the supply of technical instructions for the product and that
the buyer must follow them strictly, especially with regard
to product installation/use criteria that must be applied in
accordance with the operating conditions supplied by Bucchi
S.r.l. in this technical manual.
Should fittings be assembled with other products having a
thread pitch that differs from that on Bucchi’s products or
if products in use have deteriorated due to carelessness or
negligence (grazes, crushing, storage in unsuitable places, etc.,)
the aforementioned warranty terms will not be valid.
Istruzioni per la richiesta d’intervento
In caso di guasto, deve essere data la possibilità alla Bucchi S.r.l.
di ispezionare i difetti al fine di eliminarli entro pochi giorni,
prima che questi vengano rimossi ed eventuali danni vengano
fatturati da un installatore o da terzi.
In questi casi è necessario che ci venga inviato un telefax con
copia al rappresentante di zona contenente:
luogo e data di installazione
- marchio di identificazione dei prodotti
- tipo di guasto riscontrato
- informazioni sulle condizioni di esercizio (pressione e temperatura)
nome e recapito dell’eventuale impresa che ha effettuato
l’impianto
Dopo il ricevimento della richiesta di intervento, la Bucchi
provvederà ad inviare un suo incaricato per fare l’ispezione. Nel
caso in cui il guasto rientri nelle condizioni di GARANZIA, passerà
la pratica alla Compagnia Assicuratrice, la quale provvederà al
ri-sarcimento dei danni, dopo averne ispezionato e quantificato
il danno .
Qualora il guasto non rientri nelle condizioni della GARANZIA, la
Bucchi addebiterà al richiedente il costo della perizia e di tutte
le spese sostenute per gli accertamenti.
Instructions for Requesting our Intervention
In case of product failure, BUCCHI S.r.l. must inspect any
defects in order to eliminate any damage within a few days and
before the products are removed or repair cost is invoiced by an
installation technician or a third party.
Should failure occur, a fax supplying the following information
must be sent to us and to the area representative:
- place and installation date
- product’s identification mark- kind of failure experienced
- data regarding the operating conditions (pressure and
temperature)
- name and address of the company that has installed the
system (if applicable)
Upon receipt of the Intervention Request, Bucchi will send its
own technician to inspect the failure. Should failure pertain to
WARRANTY terms, Bucchi will send the relevant documentation
to the insurance company. The insurance company will
compensate for the damage after having inspected and
quantified same.
Should the failure not pertain to WARRANTY terms, Bucchi
will charge applicant the expenses sustained for the damage
appraisal and any expense sustained to establish the cause of
the failure.

standard per colore, diametro e filettatura.
