OBJECTIVES
To learn the language through creative personal texts, both oral and written, in order to improve
comprehension skills and basic production
METHODOLOGY
Communicative skills for everyday language and the adquisition of vocabulary. Visual learning of
the language will be taking into account. Communicative methodology and suggestopedia will be

EVALUATION SYSTEM:
The most important skill to be evaluated will be the participation in the classroom. The teacher will
check the learning process little by little For older people there will be other posibilities of
evaluation, following the Permanente University philosophy for evaluation.
SUBJECT PROGRAMME:
A textbook of 11 units will be followed for the basic level. There will be a workbook and a CD audio.
A video cassette will be available.
Descripción and unity titles:
1) Un nuovo lavoro,
2) Un'intervista
3) Una lettera…and many other topics: regions and cities of Italy, al caffè, il cinema…every unit
includes: exercises, images, texts, grammar, lexic.
Text: Progetto italiano, edición Edilingua. Teacher will provide photocopies and personal material
as needed.
