Fare di Venezia il laboratorio internazionaledi tutte le arti è il progetto della Biennale diVenezia: non soltanto il luogo privilegiato dellenuove tendenze, ma anche lo spazio apertoalla conoscenza, alla formazione e al confrontotra professionisti e pubblico consapevole,e un’officina del fare per i giovani che siaffacciano al mondo dell’arte e dello spettacolo.Si offre l’opportunità ai giovani già impegnatinei campi della Danza, della Musica e del Teatrodi incontrare dei Maestri che li cimentino suvie diverse, nuove e originali. Festivaldel Teatro, organizzato in armonia con questoprogramma, diventa il luogo dell’incontro da unlato con il lavoro dei Maestri dall’altro con quellodi altre istituzioni e soggetti del mondo chepromuovono la professione e la cultura dellearti sceniche. Una donna, Isabella Morandi,s’identifica con numerosi reperti d’archeologiaesotica: sono fossili, tracce di esistenzeumane, vite possibili e passate.In the wonderful “Isabella’s Room”, Lauwersseems to wonder: «Are we perhaps theobjects that we possess?».
