“Il falso Kandinsky”
Arte e Design hanno un dato comune che qualifica tutte le loro
espressioni, quello di essere entrambi estensione della Creazione.
Arte e Design perseguono il loro scopo percorrendo strade
diverse.
L’ Arte segue la mente, il Design il corpo.
L’ Arte segue l’immaginario, individuale o collettivo che sia,
segue percorsi tortuosi, a volte divinatori sui tempi.
Il Design segue il corpo, lo serve, lo estende, lo sostiene,
lo fornisce d’oggetti che tentano di semplificare l’esistenza
dell’uomo.
Ma corpo e mente formano un unico dove Arte e Design
si incontrano.
Art and Design have a commun datum which qualifies all
their expressions. That is to be both an extension of the
Creation.
Art and Design try to reach their aim following different
paths.
Art is following the mind, Design the body.
Art follows the imagery, it may be individual or collective,
it goes through tortuous ways, sometimes divinatory on times.
Design follows the body, it serves it, it enlarges it, it supports
it, it supplies it with objects which try to make man’s existence
more simple.
Nevertheless body and mind form a unique thing where Art
and Design meet.

Valentina e l’arte
Una tavola tratta da “Il falso Kandinsky” del 1991, l’unica
storia insieme a “La sindrome di Moore” ad essere dedicata
in modo specifico all’arte.
In questo caso, gli elementi astratti e lirici che caratterizzano
la ricerca del maestro russo interagiscono con l’ambiente
uscendo dal quadro.
La storia nasce dall’esigenza di ricordare le persecuzioni
razziali con i falsi Kandinsky realizzati per isolare una parete
dietro la quale si nascondeva una famiglia di ebrei.
Di questi solo uno, Memmo, è sopravvissuto e proprio lui
ricorderà a Valentina le sue origini ebraiche.
A picture taken from “The false Kandinsky” 1991, is the only
story together with “The syndrome by Moore” to be dedicated
specifically to the art.
In this case, the abstract and lyric elements which characterize
the research of the Russian Master interact with the ambiance
coming out from the picture.
The story is born from the exigence to remember the racial
persecutions with the false Kandinsky created to isolate a wall
behind which a Jewish family was hidden.
Among them, only one survived, Memmo, and he was the one
who reminded Valentina her Jewish origins.
