“He makes women look beautiful– like
they’re in a painting. He’s from Rome, and
you can tell– he has that beautiful sense of

Daniele Calcaterra
Calcaterra’s draped approach gives his
designs a special Italian flair that’s all
about fabric and shape, and lets him
keep it minimal on color but strong on
impact. “Calcaterra is very conceptual and
artistic,” says Ponzellini. “His femininity
is very subtle– not in your face. He’s very
interesting– he has one woman who is his
muse, and he drapes his fabric right on her
to create his designs.”
