Mandarin Oriental Spa
The bar debuted last season and is still a
hopping cocktail spot, but the spa at the
Mandarin Oriental Hotel is the place to go
for your Day 3 fashion week back rub. We
love to relax, and we’re betting you’re with
us on this one. Everything about this place
says tran-qui-li-ty, from the color-shifting
steam room to the small pool tucked away
from every hint of hubbub. We recommend
a massage– they’re all about rebalancing
your energy with long-haul treatments that
blend aromatherapy and Reiki with some
classic rubdown techniques.
Il Secco
We cannot find a single fault with this tiny,
modern wine bar, a passion project started
by four Italian buddies. Everything’s simple
here, from the minimal utilitarian décor
to the curated selection of Italian wines
(almost all of the bubbly variety), including
our big fave Franciacorta (Italy’s answer to
champagne) flowing by the glass.
GONG
Are you and your hips sick of all of the
pasta? This sleek spot, just a stone’s throw
from D&G’s HQ, offers an Asian-inspired
menu. The Japanese chef reinvents
traditional Chinese and Italian dishes. We
love the Wagyu carpaccio and the insalata
caprese made with tofu– ideal for the
vegetarians.
