Annotation number in superscript. "10" means:
Annual export quotas for live specimens and hunting trophies are granted
as follows: Botswana: 5; Namibia: 150; Zimbabwe: 50. The trade in such
specimens is subject to the provisions of Article III of the Convention.

French common name
Adopted scientific name. "spp." means that all
species included in the Hoodia genus are covered.
CITES Appendix number
Where available, English, Spanish and French common names are provided.
Format The common name, either English (E), Spanish (S) or French (F), is followed by the
corresponding scientific name. There is only one entry for each common name, e.g. there is
an entry for 'Eagle, Golden' but not for 'Golden Eagle'.

In the examples above, to find the full information corresponding to 'parrots', 'slipper
orchids' or 'emerald-chinned hummingbird', one has to look up 'PSITTACIFORMES spp.',
'Paphiopedilum spp.' and 'Phragmipedium spp.' (the common name applies to two genera),
and 'Abeillia abeillei', respectively.
