BIOGAS<br />
Il risultato complessivo è la<br />
produzione <strong>di</strong> energia pulita che, a<br />
<strong>di</strong>fferenza <strong>di</strong> quella prodotta da<br />
idrocarburi fossili, consente <strong>di</strong><br />
neutralizzare l’immissione <strong>di</strong><br />
quantitativi aggiuntivi <strong>di</strong> anidride<br />
carbonica nell’atmosfera.<br />
Il biogas è infatti composto per circa<br />
il 55% da metano, per il 35% da<br />
anidride carbonica e per la restante<br />
parte da vapore acqueo e gas traccia.<br />
L’anidride carbonica derivante dalla<br />
combustione del biogas è quella<br />
precedentemente fissata nella<br />
biomassa a seguito del processo <strong>di</strong><br />
fotosintesi naturale e, quin<strong>di</strong>,<br />
l’effetto serra dell’impianto è nullo.<br />
