Our history

It was 1974 when Arturo Campa opened his first
VAT number and founded Campa Arturo & figli,
a small carpentry firm of just 150 square meters,
specialising in the design and construction of
windows, fences, gates, canopies, supports for
machines and cold rooms, supports and parts
for conveyor belts, mechanical engineering
components and small carpentry works, aimed at
the private sector or small construction companies.
Before embarking on his ambitious adventure,
father Arturo is employed at an engineering
company in Lecce, specialising in medium-light
carpentry constructions. A denied right, the
failure to be recognised the honeymoon holiday
by his employer, leads him to undertake his own
business courageously, proving immediately to be
able to capture market trends, with a consequent
adjustment of his products, thus affirming the
innovative and farsighted nature of its business
compared to its competitors. From small and
large structural carpentry works, to assembly
and industrial maintenance, through precision
carpentry and mechanical work to a whole series
of products still in distribution: his business
diversifies but does not abandon its original core
business, developing the production of loadbearing
structures for the building industry
and the construction of modular and versatile
metal structures for small and large commercial
activities, an evolution which led him to filing
several patents, becoming a symbol of design and
innovation at international level.
In 2009 Campa Arturo & figli evolved into Campa
Srl, keeping the promise already expressed in the
original company name: father Arturo passes the
baton to his sons, Marco, Fabio and Damiano, who
with dedication and enthusiasm make the company
a real “atelier” where industrial technique and
craftsmanship combine to make the customer’s
order take the form of a tailor-made dress.
The success of each order, in addition to being
managed in all its phases for a turnkey product,
is the result of a pre-assembly in the company and
a final test of the commissioned project, which
allows all the necessary feasibility checks.
Today the company boasts two warehouses of
2,700 square meters in total, within a property of
5,700 square meters and a yard of about 3,000
square meters used as a vehicle parking lot.
Specifically, an area dedicated to the production
and testing of real metal “sculptures”, often
large-scale special projects, the result of the
ability to stimulate creativity thanks to the precious
contribution of consolidated partners and local
and non-local suppliers.

È il 1974 quando Arturo Campa apre la sua prima
Partita Iva e fonda la Campa Arturo&figli, una piccola
ditta artigianale di carpenteria di soli 150 m 2 ,
specializzata nella progettazione e realizzazione
di serramenti, recinzioni, cancelli, tettoie, supporti
per macchine e celle frigo, supporti e parti per nastri
trasportatori, componentistica metalmeccanica e
piccoli lavori di carpenteria, finalizzati al privato o
alle piccole imprese edili.
Prima di intraprendere la sua ambiziosa avventura,
papà Arturo è impiegato presso un’azienda
metalmeccanica a Lecce, specializzata in
costruzioni di carpenteria medio-leggera. Un
diritto negato, il mancato riconoscimento delle
ferie matrimoniali da parte del suo datore di lavoro,
lo conduce a intraprendere con coraggio un’attività
in proprio, dimostrandosi capace sin da subito di
cogliere i trend di mercato, con un conseguente
adeguamento dei suoi prodotti, affermando così il
carattere innovativo e lungimirante del suo business
rispetto ai competitor. Da piccoli e grandi lavori
di carpenteria strutturale, sino al montaggio e
alla manutenzione industriale, passando per
lavori di carpenteria di precisione e lavorazioni
meccaniche sino a tutta una serie di prodotti
tuttora in distribuzione: la sua attività si diversifica
ma non abbandona il suo originale core business,
sviluppando la produzione di strutture portanti
per l’edilizia e la realizzazione di strutture metalliche
modulari e versatili per piccole e grandi attività
commerciali, evoluzione che lo porta a depositare
diversi brevetti, diventando simbolo di design e
innovazione a livello internazionale.
Nel 2009 la Campa Arturo&figli si evolve in
Campa Srl, mantenendo la promessa già espressa
nella denominazione aziendale originaria: papà
Arturo passa il testimone ai suoi figli, Marco, Fabio
e Damiano, che con dedizione ed entusiasmo
rendono l’azienda un vero e proprio “atelier”
dove tecnica industriale e maestria artigianale si
combinano perché la commessa del cliente prenda
le forme di un abito cucito su misura.
La riuscita di ogni commessa, oltre ad essere
gestita in tutte le sue fasi per un prodotto chiavi in
mano, è il frutto di un pre-montaggio in azienda e di
un collaudo finale del progetto commissionato, che
consente tutte le verifiche di fattibilità necessarie.
Oggi l’azienda vanta due capannoni di 2.700 m 2
complessivi, all’interno di una proprietà di 5.700 m 2
e un piazzale di circa 3.000 m 2 adibito a parcheggio
automezzi. In concreto, un’area dedicata alla
produzione e alla messa in prova di vere e proprie
“sculture” in metallo, spesso progetti speciali
di grandi dimensioni, risultato della capacità di
stimolare la creatività grazie al prezioso apporto di
partner consolidati e fornitori locali e non.

Arturo
Born in 1951, he is a man of extraordinary temperament, serious, generous, esteemed by his collaborators
and his clients: father Arturo confirms himself as a fundamental pillar of the company. Today he is 68
years old, has 45 years of activity and is still the company’s director, also dealing with the logistics and
procurement of raw materials. Every day, as always, he arrives at the Corigliano d’Otranto plant at 6:50 am.
Arturo has been able to make his company never excessively sectorialised but always in step with the
needs and demands of the market. He has cultivated a natural inclination towards evolution and
diversification, which he then passed on to his sons and his historical employees. Thus, between a planer
and a laser, Fabio, Marco and Damiano took their first steps in the company, spending the summer and
every free moment with their father in the company. They shared with him the ambitious goal of the
international route that leads to Campa Srl, in the early 2000s, up to Saudi Arabia, with a consequent
growing of confirmations and prestigious recognitions in favour of the company all made in Italy.
Today the company boasts increasingly incredible goals, animated by the enthusiasm and dreamy eyes of
the young Campa family members: Diego, Sofia, Alessandro, Daniele, Dario and Sara.
Fabio
The first to support his father in the early 90s, Fabio. He was only 14 years old. He deals with production,
inspections and site visits. He is the father of Daniele, Dario and Sara.
Marco
Marco arrived at the company in 1996, after graduating. He takes care of the administrative management
of the company. He is Alessandro’s father.
Damiano
To complete the family picture of the company, Damiano, who landed in the company in 2002 after
graduating.
He is entrusted with the technical and commercial operations of the company. He is Diego and Sofia’s
father.

Classe 1951, uomo dalla tempra straordinaria, serio, generoso, stimato dai suoi collaboratori e dai suoi clienti:
papà Arturo si conferma pilastro fondamentale dell’azienda. Oggi ha 68 anni, vanta ben 45 anni di attività ed
è tuttora amministratore della società, occupandosi inoltre della logistica e dell’approvvigionamento delle
materie prime. Ogni giorno, oggi come sempre, è presente nello stabilimento di Corigliano d’Otranto già alle
6:50 del mattino.
Arturo ha saputo rendere la propria azienda mai eccessivamente settorializzata ma sempre al passo con le
esigenze e richieste del mercato, coltivando una naturale inclinazione all’evoluzione e alla diversificazione, che ha
poi trasmesso ai suoi figli e ai suoi storici dipendenti. Così, tra una pialla ed un laser, Fabio, Marco e Damiano
hanno mosso i primi passi in azienda, trascorrendo l’estate ed ogni momento libero al fianco del padre in
azienda, condividendo con lui l’ambizioso traguardo della rotta internazionale che porta la Campa Srl, nei
primi anni 2000, sino in Arabia Saudita, con un conseguente crescendo di conferme e riconoscimenti prestigiosi
a favore dell’azienda tutta made in Italy.
Oggi l’azienda vanta traguardi straordinari, animata dall’entusiasmo e dagli occhi sognanti delle giovani leve
di casa Campa: Diego, Sofia, Alessandro, Daniele, Dario e Sara.
Fabio
Il primo ad affiancare il padre nei primi anni ‘90, Fabio. Aveva solo 14 anni. Si occupa di produzione,
sopralluoghi e visite in cantiere. È papà di Daniele, Dario e Sara.
Marco
Marco arriva in azienda nel ’96, dopo il diploma. Si occupa della gestione amministrativa dell’azienda. È papà
di Alessandro.
Damiano
A completare il quadro familiare dell’azienda, Damiano, che nel 2002 dopo il diploma approda in azienda.
A lui è affidata la funzione tecnica e commerciale dell’azienda. È papà di Diego e Sofia.

Everything we sell is produced in the company.
Only the raw materials, such as semi-finished
products, laser cutting or small orders, are made
by third parties.
Campa Srl avails itself of a valuable team of highly
skilled and qualified expert professionals, able
to perform at best all the activities which include
high precision mechanical processing with the
help of latest generation CNC machines and
equipment such as turning, milling, cutting,
bending, welding of metal elements. The high
level of competence also allows to provide our
customers technical and technological solutions
not only for the design of metal structural
elements, but also for the realisation of projects
suitable for every type of requirement. Supported
by design and development software such as
ProSap®, Autocad® and Creo Parametric®, and
state-of-the-art and constantly updated IT
tools, we are certain of being able to face even the
most arduous challenges with the necessary tools
and the appropriate skills. Structural calculations
are performed in accordance with national and
international regulations.
From a simple idea the design of structures,
mechanical components, protection elements
and coverage of large surfaces develop. With
specific skills and a creative spirit, we accept
exciting challenges, realize top-quality designs
and model steel according to the necessary
technical details, giving lightness and solidity to
each production, for perfectly harmonious works
with the environment in which they are present.
Whether they are important structures, such as
industrial and prefabricated warehouses, or light
constructions, such as railings, shelving or other
objects, the finished product is the result of a
constant research on materials, of an extremely
precise work, of the monitoring of all the phases
of realisation and installation of the structure
within the agreed time.
We invest a lot in research and design to provide
customers with the maximum in terms of speed,
accuracy and precision for each project, as well as
smart, innovative solutions, with an eye to new
technologies and new materials.

Tutto ciò che viene prodotto è realizzato in
azienda. Solo le materie prime, come semilavorati,
taglio laser o piccole commesse, vengono affidate
all’esterno.
La Campa Srl si avvale di un valido team di
professionisti esperti, altamente specializzati e
qualificati, in grado di svolgere al meglio tutte le
attività che comprendono lavorazioni meccaniche
di alta precisione con l’ausilio di macchine ed
attrezzature CNC di ultima generazione quali
tornitura, fresatura, taglio, piegatura, saldatura di
elementi metallici. L’alto livello di competenza inoltre
consente di fornire al cliente soluzioni tecniche
e tecnologiche non solo per la progettazione di
elementi di carpenteria metallica, ma anche per la
realizzazione di progetti adeguati ad ogni tipo di
esigenza. Coadiuvati da software di progettazione
e disegno quali ProSap®, Autocad® e Creo
Parametric®, e strumenti informatici all’avanguardia
ed in costante aggiornamento, siamo certi di

How we do it

We listen to the customer, we identify his
needs and requirements, we advise him with
the choices and solutions best suited to the
peculiarities of the order. We imagine, design
and translate every aspect into a viable creative
idea. Creative idea of which we verify the feasibility
using the most advanced and sophisticated
software licensed for design and simulation,
creating a prototype on a reduced scale first and
the finished product on a 1:1 scale then.
Each process is designed and planned in
compliance with the climatic conditions of the
country of destination and according to the
regulations in force concerning construction,
safety, planning and respect for the environment.
From here we go into the details of the design,
through drawings on paper which translate
into three-dimensional digital details: thanks
to CAD software, modern hardware equipment
and highly specific software interfaced with the
operating machines, we propose a realistic threedimensional
model complete with photo-insertion
and render based on project data.
Subsequently, accurate and scrupulous tests
and simulations are carried out according to
complex and extremely advanced engineering
models to guarantee the safety and sustainability of
each product created in relation to meteorological
scenarios, natural and anthropic actions of the
place of assembly.
Implementation times and costs are set out below,
with detailed planning of the order management
with specifications that are useful for both the
company executive department and external
suppliers. We are able to boast extreme flexibility
in the implementation phase also for possible
variations during construction which are quickly
integrated into the design and production phase.
This is possible thanks to three-dimensional
modelling tools, photorealistic renderings
and precision drawing, which we provide our
customers. This allows them to receive a total
support service, whilst being advised with the
choices most appropriate to their needs.
Finally, the production process is started: the
Campa brothers’ watchful and attentive eye
follows every step, to make sure that the project is
faithfully executed and to resolve any unforeseen
event, so that everything complies with what is
established.

Ascoltiamo il cliente, ne individuiamo le esigenze
e le necessità, lo consigliamo nelle scelte e nelle
soluzioni più adatte alle peculiarità della commessa.
Immaginiamo, disegniamo e traduciamo ogni
aspetto in un’idea creativa realizzabile. Idea
creativa di cui ne verifichiamo la fattibilità
utilizzando i più avanzati e sofisticati software
licenziati di progettazione e simulazione,
realizzando un prototipo in scala ridotta prima e il
prodotto finito in scala 1:1 poi.
Ogni processo viene pensato e progettato nel
rispetto delle condizioni climatiche del Paese di
destinazione e secondo le norme vigenti in materia
di costruzioni, sicurezza, pianificazione, rispetto
ambientale.
Da qui entriamo nel dettaglio della progettazione,
attraverso disegni su carta che si traducono in
dettagli tridimensionali digitali: grazie a software
CAD, attrezzature hardware moderne e software
altamente specifici interfacciabili con le macchine
operatrici, proponiamo un modello tridimensionale
realistico completo di fotoinserimento e render
basata su dati di progetto.
Successivamente vengono effettuate prove e
simulazioni accurate e scrupolose secondo modelli
ingegneristici complessi ed estremamente evoluti
per garantire la sicurezza e la sostenibilità di
ogni prodotto realizzato nei riguardi di scenari
meteorologici, azioni naturali e antropiche del
luogo di montaggio.
Di seguito vengono stabiliti tempi e costi di
realizzazione, pianificando nel dettaglio la gestione
della commessa con le specifiche utili sia per il
reparto esecutivo aziendale, che per i fornitori
esterni, potendo vantare estrema flessibilità nella
fase realizzativa anche per eventuali varianti in
corso d’opera che sono velocemente integrate
nella fase di progettazione e produzione.
Ciò è possibile grazie a strumenti di modellazione
tridimensionale, render fotorealistici e disegnazione
di precisione, con i quali forniamo ai nostri clienti
un servizio di supporto totale, affiancandoli nelle
scelte più appropriate alle loro esigenze.
Infine viene dato l’avvio al processo produttivo:
l’occhio attento e vigile dei fratelli Campa segue
ogni fase, per assicurarsi che il progetto sia
eseguito fedelmente e per intervenire a risolvere
eventuali imprevisti, affinché tutto sia conforme a
quanto stabilito.

The comparison with such an important customer
gave us the opportunity to grasp the extraordinary
aspects of the needs of the client in question,
while managing to satisfy every request thanks
to a continuous exchange of information and

stratified tempered glass: this is the scope
of our special project, a successful test of the

A few steps from the Kremlin, the penthouse
of a Russian oligarch. Essential requirements:
safety, privacy and design. Hence the tailormade
design of highly technological bullet-proof
fixtures, with an impact resistance of 1500J
(a bullet fired from an AK-47), an average weight
of 800 kg of glazing with a shielding system
inside with laminated LCD crystals and instant
darkening of the frame with a simple touch,
without using curtains.
The lifting and handling of heavy objects required
an unconventional system for assembling the
entire steel structure at 70 meters height.
Finally, to make the entire building envelope
impregnable, ballistic steel coatings have been
adopted.

A pochi passi dal Cremlino, la penthouse di un oligarca
russo. Requisiti irrinunciabili: sicurezza, privacy e
design. Da qui la progettazione su misura di infissi
altamente tecnologici a prova di proiettile, con una
resistenza all’impatto di 1500J (un proiettile sparato
da un AK-47), un peso medio delle vetrate di 800 kg con
al loro interno un sistema di schermatura con cristalli
LCD laminati e oscuramento istantaneo dell’infisso con
un semplice tocco, senza l’utilizzo di tende.
Il sollevamento e la movimentazione degli oggetti
pesanti ha richiesto un sistema non convenzionale
per l’assemblaggio e il montaggio dell’intera
struttura in acciaio a 70 m d’altezza.
Infine, per rendere inattaccabile l’intero involucro
edilizio, sono stati adottati dei rivestimenti in acciaio
balistico.

The evocative atmosphere of the circus design
relives from the design and realization of eccentric
and elegant structures at the same time. The
Circus, an imposing structure, a demanding
customer and a surprising result for an ambitious
project that brought our signature to Eindhoven.
Designed for a Dutch amusement park as a main
attraction, it is a small amusement park in the main
amusement park. Under its covered surface, in
fact, various games for children find their home.
A tensile structure that develops for 12 meters
in height at the highest point and that covers
about 300 square meters.

L’atmosfera suggestiva del design circense rivive
della progettazione e realizzazione di strutture
eccentriche ed eleganti al contempo. Il Circus,
una struttura imponente, un cliente esigente e un
risultato sorprendente per un progetto ambizioso
che ha portato la nostra firma sino ad Eindhoven.
Progettato per un parco divertimenti olandese
come attrazione principale, è un piccolo parco
divertimenti nel parco divertimenti principale. Sotto
la sua superficie coperta, infatti, trovano dimora
diversi giochi per bambini. Una tensostruttura che
si sviluppa per 12 m di altezza nel punto più alto e
che ricopre circa 300 m 2 .

A space equipped for the childrens, where they
can play freely and practice physical activity
outdoors.
Bridges, slides, nets, stairs and tunnels within the
same structure, designed and built to ensure total
safety.
The steel of the supporting structure, 10 meters
high, blends well with the PVC of the triangular
sails which, properly tensioned, allow shelter from
the sun while letting the air pass through.

Uno spazio attrezzato per i più piccoli, dove giocare
liberamente e praticare attività motoria all’aperto.
Ponti, scivoli, reti, scale e tunnel all’interno della
stessa struttura, progettata e realizzata per

L’acciaio della struttura portante, alta 10 metri,
ben si coniuga con il PVC delle vele triangolari che,

On the Scheveningen waterfront, we have
created a refined and functional telescopic roof
for a local restaurant. A skilful mix of materials
and technologies has allowed us to create a fully
automated roof that allows the complete modular
opening of the gallery, without any intermediate
pillar obstructing the usability of the spaces. An
elegant, innovative solution with a unique look,
also thanks to the use of satin panels with a smoky
effect gives an extremely refined setting in the
evening.

per un ristorante del posto. Un sapiente mix di
materiali e tecnologie ci ha consentito di realizzare
una copertura totalmente automatizzata che, senza
alcun pilastro intermedio ad ostruire la fruibilità
degli spazi, permette la completa apertura
modulare della galleria. Una soluzione elegante,
innovativa e con un look unico, anche grazie
all’impiego di pannelli satinati con effetto fumé
che di sera regala uno scenario estremamente
raffinato.

In the heart of Salento, within the splendid location
of the Sangiorgio Resort, we had the pleasure of
designing, building and installing a custom cover
for the events area.
Steel and sandwich panels with a corrugated and
glossy finish, come together to create a main roof
of 285sqm, as well as two gazebos of 30sqm
each, for a total weight of over 5000kg of steel,
resistant to earthquake, wind and snow loads. The
installation of lighting elements added that touch
of elegant functionality to make the whole exterior
even more suggestive.

Nel cuore del Salento, all’interno della splendida
location del Sangiorgio Resort, abbiamo avuto il
piacere di progettare, realizzare ed installare una
copertura custom per la zona ricevimenti.
Acciaio e pannelli sandwich con finitura ondulata e
lucida, si uniscono per dare vita ad una copertura
principale di 285mq, oltre a due gazebo di 30mq
ciascuno, per un peso totale di oltre 5000kg
di acciaio, resistente ai carichi sisma,vento
e neve previsti dalle vigenti norme tecniche.
L’installazione di elementi luminosi ha aggiunto
quel tocco di elegante funzionalità per rendere
ancora più suggestiva l’intera ambientazione.

For this project the challenge was to be able to
integrate a customized cover in a historic baronial
palace.
Our creativity has led us to design a steel
supporting structure, covered with Lecce stone
and with corten finishes.
A soft curtain and hundreds of hanging LED lights
embellish the interior, giving a unique emotion to
the guests of the Villa.

Per questo progetto la sfida era riuscire ad
integrare una copertura personalizzata in uno
storico palazzo baronale.
La nostra creatività ci ha portato ad ideare una
struttura portante in acciaio, rivestita con pietra
leccese e con finiture in corten.
Un morbido tendaggio e centinaia di luci led
pendenti abbelliscono l’interno, regalando
un’emozione unica agli ospiti della Villa.
Ad accentuare l’atmosfera di un posto già magico,
i lampioni con le iniziali della location incise e gli
stemmi di famiglia retroilluminati intagliati.

For the Italian Air Force we have created a tensile
structure with 20 meters free lights capable of
covering an area of over 400 square meters with
no internal pillars but only along the perimeter of
the same.

For the Menhir Cellars in the heart of Salento, we
performed a complex intervention on interiors
and exteriors, presented to the customer in a
three-dimensional version in order to accurately
assess the project.
The interior furnishings have been designed to
make the interior areas elegant and functional with
bookcases also serving as exhibitors and internal
partitions. A refined and at the same time light
and sophisticated interior staircase becomes a
unique piece of furniture, designed specifically to
integrate with the general style of the furniture.
Another clean and essential element is the thermal
break windows with stratified chamber glass in
a burgundy colour.
In the external area, we created perimeter railings
and gates with automatic operation, a large
roofing for the processing area and a room divider
which acts as a filter between the processing and
the entrance area.

Per le Cantine Menhir nel cuore del Salento,
abbiamo eseguito un intervento complesso su
interni ed esterni, presentati al cliente in versione
tridimensionale in modo da valutare con
accuratezza il progetto.
Gli arredi interni sono stati pensati per rendere le
aree interne eleganti e funzionali con librerie che
fungono anche da espositori e divisori interni.
Una scala interna ricercata e al contempo leggera
e raffinata diviene elemento di arredo unico,
progettato appositamente per integrarsi con lo
stile generale dell’arredamento.
Altro elemento pulito ed essenziale, gli infissi a
taglio termico con vetri camera stratificati in colore
vinaccia.
Nell’area esterna sono state realizzate ringhiere
e cancelli perimetrali con azionamento automatico,
una grande copertura per la zona lavorazione ed un
separè che funge da filtro tra la zona lavorazione e
la zona ingresso.

Experiencing the outdoor space away from the sun,
enjoying the reduced dimensions when not in use
and at the same time not go unnoticed. These were
the customer’s requests for a unique project. With
these assumptions we have designed and finally
created a made in Italy tent, with a unique style,
with high wind resistance characteristics and
that closes in a few centimeters when not used.
The Armonik awning we built allows to cover more
than 100 square meters without any pillars, thus
being able to use all the covered space without
limitations.

contempo non passare inosservati. Queste erano
le richieste del cliente per un progetto unico. Con
questi presupposti abbiamo ideato, progettato ed
infine realizzato una tenda made in Italy, con uno
stile unico, dalle caratteristiche di resistenza al vento
elevate e che, quando non utilizzata si richiude in
pochi centimetri. La tenda Armonik che abbiamo
realizzato permette di coprire più di 100 m 2 senza
alcun bisogno di pilastri potendo usufruire così di
tutto lo spazio coperto senza limitazioni.
