L’Azienda
Fondata nel 1965 a Formigine, Motova-
rio è attualmente una delle più impor-
tanti aziende italiane nella produzione
di organi di trasmissione per applicazio-
ni industriali e civili.
Nel 1998 acquisisce la Spaggiari Tra-
smissioni, altra nota azienda con espe-
rienza trentennale nel campo della tec-
nologia meccanica.
Nel 2006 il fondo di investimento Syner-
go SGR rileva il controllo dell’Azienda
per gestirne lo sviluppo e supportarne
la crescita in tutto il mondo.
L’intera produzione si svolge negli oltre
50.000 metri quadrati degli stabilimenti
di Formigine ed Ubersetto, dove sono
impiegati circa 500 addetti.
A quasi 45 anni dalla sua fondazione,
Motovario dimostra di essere cresciu-
ta in sintonia con i cambiamenti del
mercato strutturandosi con flessibili-
tà e consolidando la propria posizio-
ne fra le aziende leader nel settore.

The Company
Established in 1965 in the town of For-
migine, Motovario has grown to be-
come one of the most important Italian
and European manufacturers of gear
units for industrial and civil applications.
In 1998 Motovario purchased Spag-
giari Trasmissioni, a well-known com-
pany with thirty years experience in
mechanical technology.
In 2006 Motovario was taken over by the
Italian investment fund Synergo SGR to
manage the company’s development
and support its growth worldwide.
The main production work is carried out
in the establishments of Formigine and
Ubersetto, with 50,000 square meters
of facilities and a staff of around 500.
45 years after its foundation, Moto-
vario has proved its capacity to grow in
step with the swings of the market, giv-
ing itself a flexible structure and con-
solidating its place as a market leader
in its sector.

Société
