Marketing acid arginine, which is a well-known growth hormone stimulator. Arginine is naturally present in cows’ milk and also available as an isolated ingredient. “There is no doubt that genetics plays the most significant role in an individual’s height, with studies showing this accounts for up to 80% of final height,” says Fendell. “There is a window of opportunity where we can influence the potential height of an individual. It was specially formulated for daily hydration to help keep children optimally hydrated, and actually avoid becoming dehydrated in the first place, a condition that compromises the body and mind in a variety of ways. SOS Kids has only 3 grams of sugar; is boosted with vitamins A and C, minerals zinc and magnesium; and contains no artificial additives. “SOS helps the body absorb water two to three times faster than drinking water alone and provides a better alternative for children over juices, powders and other sports drinks laden with unnecessary sugar, calories, carbohydrates and additives,” said Dr. Blanca Lizaola-Mayo, an internal medicine physician and cofounder of the company.
