Voice control, smart devices, artificial intelligence and 8K television – key market drivers With IFA 2018 just around the corner, innovation will again be a key driver, with seven, eight or nine industries simultaneously driving the market forward in a kind of “co-innovation”. We asked IFA Executive Director, Jens Heithecker, how this affects trends this year at the show. Voice control, Smart Devices, Artificial Intelligence and 8K Television are among the Big Trends for IFA 2018. Technology megatrends are driving a new wave of innovation in consumer electronics and home appliances. IFA has paved the way for innumerable innovations in living rooms, offices and kitchens of this world. At the moment, we are experiencing a particularly exciting phase in technological development: Smart and connected devices for the home, powerful AI applications that are deeply integrated in consumer electronics and wellness products, and TVs with ever better screen quality are among the big trendsetters that will dominate IFA 2018, the world's most important trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. This year as always, we can expect some outstanding keynotes. Can you tell us a little more about these? Park will deliver a joint opening keynote at IFA 2018 for the very first time and outline their vision for LG’s ThinQ strategy for Artificial Intelligence.
