EDITO Richard Barnes Editor-in-Chief, VINEXPO Daily Vinexpo Bordeaux 2017 PROGRAMME VINEXPO 2017: THE PLACE TO BE! There are plenty of surprises in store at the 19th Vinexpo! In 2017, the exhibition is being condensed into a dynamic 4-day format, and the new services planned by the organisers will guarantee the success of the event. This thriving city will offer many opportunities for attendees to make connections and boost their business, decipher future trends in the sector and discover Spain, the market in the spotlight for 2017. Taking part in Vinexpo Bordeaux means being in the right place at the right time. The show is a catalyst for international business with around 45,000 trade visitors from 150 countries due to attend. On the exhibitor front, the number and diversity of nationalities confirm the show’s planetary reach, its key role as a meeting place for the sector, and its leadership. Indeed, this year’s Vinexpo sees an anticipated 2,300 exhibitors from wine regions around the world flocking to Bordeaux, and a ground-breaking four-day line-up of conferences, tastings, seminars and networking events. Spain, the third largest wine producer worldwide, dominates the market in organic wine production, and this year takes the spotlight as the show’s country of honour. Even the most informed show-goers are thus bound to discover something new, with over 100 new exhibitors at this year’s event. We look forward to seeing you in Bordeaux!
