Note: Pfitzer (1889) in his thesis on the <strong>Orchid</strong>aceae was, inadvertent or otherwise<br />

“effectively lectotypifying” most taxa listed through selection of a single species that<br />

was in his opinion a typical member or representative of that taxon (L.Adams and A.<br />
