TheEEPS uses a unique charging system and multiple electrometersto get signals from all particle sizes simultaneously.The electrometer current data is processed inreal time with a high-performance DSP* chip insidethe instrument. This corrects for multiple charges andthe time delay between electrometers. The data is thenprocessed further to give results in 32 equally spaced(log-scale) size channels.
