CONTRACT TERM:
The term shall commence July 1, 2012 and continue through April 12, 2016.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is the recommendation of Michael Connors, Director of Transportation Services and Cheryl Olson, Director of
Purchasing and Warehouse Services to utilize National Joint Powers Alliance Request for Proposal #031212 for
the provision of auto truck parts with related auto and truck equipment, accessories, supplies and services until
April 12, 2016 with the option for a one year renewal. The pricing discount from the catalog awarded ranges from
0% to 73% on the entire line of parts, manuals, tools, and supplies. A complete list of the specific pricing discount
is available upon request from the Purchasing Office. Request authority for the Director of Purchasing and
Warehouse Services to renew the contract for one additional one year period. Contract renewal shall be
contingent upon the recommendation of the Director of Transportation Services request for continuation of
services and annual contract review.
