• Diagnosis and Evaluation of Patients with SuspectedAndrogen Deficiency (AD)• We recommend making a diagnosis of AD only in men with consistentsymptoms and signs and unequivocally low serum testosterone levels.• We suggest that clinicians measure serum testosterone level in patientswith clinical manifestations shown in Table 1A. We suggest thatclinicians also consider measuring serum testosterone level when theless specific symptoms and signs listed in Table 1B occur in conjunctionwith those listed in Table 1A.
