Alsoread the section about adjustment.FIG 13: Gently knock out the perforation for the flue if thefireplace is mounted laterally.Safety distances (FIG 1)Ensure that the safety distances are complied with.Please note that these safety distances can vary fromcountry to country.The distance to any inflammable material in front of theopening of the insert must be of at least 1 m.The distance from the glass in the door to a inflammablewall, must be of at least 300/600 mm.The distance between the top of the convection airoutlet and roof of inflammable material must be at least350 mm.*The distance in the illustration indicates the heightat the centre of the perforation in the surround. Thedistance will vary depending on where the surround isinstalled as well as the inclination of the flue. Unevenfloors and walls will also affect the distance. Dry stackthe fireplace until the mantelpiece element foraccurate height and positioning of the flue/chimneyconnection.GB5
