DESCRIÇÃO:<br />
Tem a função <strong>de</strong> avaliar o potencial da visão do paciente, eliminando artefatos <strong>de</strong><br />
irregularida<strong>de</strong>s ou opacida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> meios. O potencial <strong>de</strong> visão é medido projetando-se uma<br />
tabela <strong>de</strong> letras, números ou listras (<strong>de</strong> acordo com a unida<strong>de</strong>) diretamente no fundo do olho.<br />
ORIENTAÇÃO AO PACIENTE:<br />
Antes do exame: ser alfabetizado (unida<strong>de</strong>s <strong>de</strong> Santo Amaro e Molinari) e trazer<br />
acompanhante, se possível. Nos hospitais H.<strong>Olhos</strong> Paulista e ABC e nas outras unida<strong>de</strong>s não<br />
precisa ser alfabetizado.<br />
