Corpurile rezultate pr<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> "transport <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> depunere eoliana" sunt diferentiate, în functie<br />

de dimen<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>uni <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> morfologie în:<br />

Ondulatii eoliene (cu lungimea de unda între 2,5 <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> 25 cm) cu un grad<br />

mare de, a<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>metrie, <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>dicele de ondulare <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>tre 30 - 70 <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> se deosebesc pr<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> aceste caractere<br />

de ondulatiile de valuri <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> cele de curent.<br />

Dune - reprez<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ta acumulari mari de ni<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>p, cu lungimea bazei între 10 <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng><br />

500 m, conturate în morfologia zonelor desertice ca megaondulatii. Crestele lor, adesea<br />

transversale <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> rectil<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ii pe directia vântului ("dune transversale"), se pot curba,<br />

deven<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>d semilunare (barchane) sau pot evolua paralele cu directia vântului ("dune<br />

Iongitud<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ale" - ). CresteIe ondulatiilor eoliene <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> a megaondulatiilor datorita<br />

fenomenelor de deflatie pastreaza fractiunile granulometrice g<strong>ro</strong><st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ere. Flancurile<br />

scurte, care încl<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>a spre directia de transport a materialului (<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>, deci de îna<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>tare a vântului)<br />

se identifica de foarte multe ori cu suprafata lam<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>elor oblice f<strong>ro</strong>ntale ce caracterizeaza<br />

structura <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>terna a dunelor (materialul tractat pe flancul lung al ondulatiilor<br />

ajunge sa se <strong>ro</strong>stogoleasca f<strong>ro</strong>ntal <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> sa genereze o lam<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>a oblica). Astfel de structuri<br />

<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>terne sunt <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>milare cu cele generate în <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>mediul</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> fluviatil. Urmar<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>d mecanismul lor de<br />

formare se<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>zam ca atât ondulatiile eoliene cât <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> dunele sunt structuri mobile care<br />

migreaza într-un ritm <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>in</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>vers p<strong>ro</strong>portional cu lungimea <st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> înaltimea lor.<br />

Zona de "INTERDUNE" este o zona plana în care apar dupa deflatie, depozite<br />

g<strong>ro</strong><st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ere (pietrisuri, pavaje de deflatie), paturi de argila cu urme vegetale sau crapaturi<br />

de contractie; g<strong>ro</strong><st<strong>ro</strong>ng>si</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>mea depozitelor este foarte mica.<br />
