Joseph Farivar
Joseph Farivar is calling on corporations to use their considerable clout to help the needy as best they can. Money is still a driving force in this world and large corporations generally have a lot of it. Sponsoring non-profit organizations that do a lot of good in poverty-ridden areas is certainly a good start for many companies.

There are so many advantages to living in the modern world that it can be hard to realize just
how much poverty exists throughout it. Many corporations have the wherewithal and the money
to help out with hunger and poverty throughout the world, but they often dont use their resources
for that issue. Still, some estimations suggest that nearly 1 billion people are currently going
hungry and more than that are living in poverty. Obviously, this requires a lot of changes both at
the highest levels of government and at the ground level. Money could go a long way in helping
reroute the course of the lives of those in need.
Joseph Farivar is a California businessman who has seen poverty in action understands that
governmental legislation or even international aid is slow in coming. Many people who
desperately need adequate food, shelter, medicine, and other basic necessities won’t get them
from governmental institutions. The United Nations is a force for good when it comes to trying
to feed the hungry and house the homeless, but they can only do so much. Charities are at work
throughout the world, but are also limited by monetary implications. In fact, the issues that
plague a large portion of the world’s population are largely due to a lack of funds.
Of course, thats not the whole problem. Poverty exists largely because people who live in
poverty are in areas that are not conducive to any kind of wealth. The soil might not be
applicable for growth or the governmental systems might be set up for failure.
