By using suggested PRECO exergoeconomic analysis together with energy
and exergy analysis, exegoeconomic analysis of the rotary kiln, exergoeconomic
optimization exergetic productivity of the kiln and the clinker cost through Adaptive
Range Multi Objective Algorithm (ARMOGA) method is made in the sixth chapter.
In the seventh chapter, we deal with analysis and the results of the
optimization separately and in the last chapter, we have some suggestions for the
future studies.
At the end of the study, the average energy and exergy efficiencies of the
rotary kiln process for seven days were found to be 58.79 % and 44.80 %
respectively under the conditions of 295-297 K of dead state temperature and
101.325 kPa of dead state pressure. The average factory cost of the clinker produced
in the rotary kiln was 0.022 $/kg in 2006. On the other hand, with a difference of
1.16 %, the exergetic cost of the clinker was found as 0.0217 $/kg with the PRECO
exergoeconomic analysis method. Depending the data obtained, as a result of
efficiency and cost optimization through ARMOGA method, target cost was
calculated as 0.0209 with an improvement rate of 4.44 %, and target efficiency was
calculated as 47.57 % with an improvement rate of 7.13 %.
