Serena Williams

Famous Tennis Player

Serena Williams, (born September 26, 1981, Saginaw,

Michigan, U.S.), American tennis player who

revolutionized women’s tennis with her powerful style of

play and who won more Grand Slam singles titles (23) than

any other woman or man during the open era.

What is Serena's famous quote?

"I am lucky that whatever fear I have inside me, my desire

to win is always stronger. You can be whatever size you

are, and you can be beautiful both inside and out. We're

always told what's beautiful and what's not, and that's not

right. I always believe I can beat the best, achieve the best."

The brand that she is

wearing and her opinion

about food

As part of her contract

with Nike, Serena served

as the brand's face for

their clothing, apparel

and footwear. Nike also

designed custom outfits

and shoes that Serena

would wear on the tennis

court.

Serena looks at food as fuel.

"My philosophy is eat to live.

Don't live to eat," she tells

Women's Health during a

Nintendo gaming event. "I

want to have a healthy

lifestyle and, so you know,

[I'm eating] a lot of greens

and mostly plant-based

lately, just super healthy

stuff."

when she was six years old. At

age 10 she won the Norwegian

championship, and in 1924 she

competed in the Winter

Olympic Games in Chamonix,

France.

Henie incorporated ballet

movements into her skating;

she had taken ballet lessons

from the age of five and was

influenced by ballerina Anna

Pavlova. Coached by Swedish

Olympic medalist Gillis

Grafström, she transformed a

predictable series of colourless

exercises into a spectacular

and popular exhibition.
