Star Students
Star Students
Star Students and Star Teachers in REPS Kindergarten Every Friday is Star Day! The students dress
casual and often wear princess clothes or dress up to look like superheroes. The morning begins with the
traditional Thai flag song and prayer followed by a variety of songs like, “Reach for the Stars” before
the awarding of Star Students by class. A certificate is given for Thai and a different one is given for
English learning improvement. Teachers of the week are also awarded certificates for outstanding
teaching and extra special contributions to the Kindergarten team. Both students and teachers look
forward to Star Fridays.
นักเรียนดาวเด่นและคุณครูดาวเด่นของแผนกอนุบาล ทุกๆ วันศุกร์เป็นวันดาวเด่น! นักเรียนแต่งชุดล าลองมาโรงเรียน
และหลายครั้งที่เห็นพวกเขาสวมชุดเจ้าหญิง หรือสวมชุดที่ดูคล้ายกับซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ ช่วงเช้าเริ่มต้นด้วยการร้องเพลงชาติ
และสวดมนต์ตามธรรมเนียมปฏิบัติของไทยและตามด้วยการร้องเพลงอีกหลากหลายบทเพลงเช่น , “Reach for the
Stars” ก่อนที่จะมีการมอบรางวัลนักเรียนดาวเด่นของแต่ละห้อง ใบประกาศนียบัตรที่ให้กับเด็กๆนั้นมาจากการมี
พัฒนาการในวิชาที่เรียนเป็นภาษาไทยและใบประกาศนียบัตรอีกชุดส าหรับนักเรียนผู้มีพัฒนาการที่ดีในการเรียน
ภาษาอังกฤษ ส าหรับคุณครูดาวเด่นประจ าสัปดาห์ก็เช่นกันการมอบประกาศนียบัตรนั้นจะมอบให้คุณครูที่มีผลงาน

พระบรมราโชวาทของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช พระราชทาน เนื่องในโอกาสวันเด็กแห่งชาติ
ตั้งแต่ วันที่ ๕ ธันวาคม พุทธศักราช ๒๕๓๔ ณ พระต าหนักจิตรลดารโหฐาน มีความว่า “ คนทุกคนมีหน้าที่ต้องท า แม้เป็น
เด็กก็มีหน้าที่อย่างเด็ก คือ ศึกษาเล่าเรียน หมายความว่า จะต้องเรียนให้รู้วิชา ฝึกหัดท าการงานต่างๆให้เป็น อบรมขัดเกลา
ความประพฤติและความคิดจิตใจให้ประณีต ให้สุจริต แจ่มใส และเฉลียวฉลาด มีเหตุผล เพื่อจักได้เติบโตขึ้นเป็นคนที่มี
ความรู้ ความสามารถและมีประโยชน์ ต่อชาติบ้านเมือง” เด็กเป็นทรัพยากรบุคคลที่ส าคัญยิ่งต่อประเทศชาติ เป็นพลังส าคัญ
ในการพัฒนาชาติบ้านเมืองให้เจริญก้าวหน้าและมั่นคง เด็กจึงควรเตรียมตัวที่จะเป็นก าลังของชาติด้วย การขยันหมั่นศึกษา
หาความรู้และใช้เวลาให้เป็ประโยชน์อย่างเต็มที่
ในการจัดงานวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ประจ าปี ๒๕๖๐ โรงเรียนสองภาษาระยองได้จัดให้มีการจัดงานฉลองวันเด็กแห่งชาติ
ประจ าปี ๒๕๖๐ ขึ้น โดยให้นักเรียนแต่ละระดับชั้น ได้รู้ถึงความส าคัญของตนเอง ทางโรงเรียนได้จัดการแสดงมอบความสุข
สนานและบันเทิงเพื่อนักเรียน โดยมีการแสดงจากคุณครูและรุ่นพี่ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย
อีกเรื่องที่น่าภาคภูมิใจของทางโรงเรียนสองภาษาระยอง คือ “ นายจักริน นารุลา ” นักเรียนระดัชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ ๔/๒
ได้รับคัดเลือกจากส านักงานวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดระยอง ว่าเป็นผู้มีความประพฤติดี มีคุณธรรม สมควรได้รับการยกย่องเป็น
ตัวอย่างที่ดีแก่เยาวชนตามโครงการยกย่องเชิดชูเด็กไทย เนื่องในวันเด็กแห่งชาติ ประจ าปี ๒๕๖๐
The Royal Guidance of King Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama XI which had been given on Children's
Day since 5 December 1991 at Jitrada Palace was that 'everybody has a duty, although that duty of the
children is to study'. Meaning, children must know about learning, practices, honesty, liveliness, intelligence,
to act with good reason, and to be a good citizen who has knowledge of the country.
Children are an important resource for our country. They are the energy whom will develop our country to
be progressive and secure. Children should prepare for study and spend time on goodness.
During the Children's Day ceremony in 2017, REPS celebrated
with entertainment by both the teachers and the secondary
students. We are also very proud of Jakrin Narula (Jacky)
M4/2 who was named by the Ministry of Culture of Rayong
for good character. A good example to others on Children's
Day 2017..

Children’s Day
The morning began with the traditional Thai anthem and
prayer followed by the awarding of Star Students by class
and Teachers of the week. Learning games and activities
were done by group level and strawberry popsicle sticks
were enjoyed during the morning break. To close the day
Nursery and all of Kindergarten went to the meeting hall,
which was decorated with many coloured balloons.
The superheroes sang, “Zero 5-10” and the beautiful
princesses sang, “Let it Go” from Frozen. Then everybody
danced to “I’m a Gummy Bear”. The Children even watched
the Disney version of the “Three Little Pigs” story and sang
along to “Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?” As an extra
special surprise, each child took a balloon home with a big
wish for a Happy Children's Day

กิจกรรมในช่วงเช้าเริ่มต้นด้วยการร้องเพลงชาติและสวดมนต์ตามธรรมเนียมไทย
และตามด้วยการประกาศผลดาวเด่นของนักเรียนและคุณครูประจ าสัปดาห์ ร่วมกัน
เล่นเกมส์ที่เสริมสร้างความรู้และเมื่อเสร็จสิ้นกิจกรรมเด็กๆ ในแต่ละชั้นปี ได้รับแจก
ไอศครีมแท่งรสสตอร์เบอรรี่และร่วมรับประทานด้วยกันอย่างสนุกสนานในช่วงพัก
เบรกตอนเช้า ใกล้เวลากลับบ้านนักเรียนชั้นเนอซอรี่และอนุบาลเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมใน
ห้องประชุมที่ตกแต่งด้วยลูกโป่งอย่างสวยงามหลายหลากสี กลุ่มซูเปอร์ฮีโร่ร่วมขับ
ร้องเพลง “Zero 5-10” และบรรดาเจ้าหญิงแสนสวยร่วมกันขับร้องเพลง “Let it
Go” จากภาพยนต์เรื่อง Frozen หลังจากนั้นทุกคนได้ร่วมกันเต้นในเพลง “I’m a
Gummy Bear” เด็กๆ ได้ดูภาพยนต์การ์ตูนของ ดีสนีย์ เรื่อง “Three Little Pigs”
เรื่องราวนั้นมีการร้องถาม “ ใครกลัวหมาป่าตัวใหญ่ “
เป็นสิ่งพิเศษที่สร้างความประทับใจและตื่นเต้นให้กับเด็กๆ คือแต่ละคนได้รับลูกโป่ง
กลับบ้านไปพร้อมกับความหวังอันยิ่งใหญ่ เพื่อวันเด็กที่มีความสุข

Christmas
Christmas!!
On December 16 Santa came to visit the Nursery and Kindergarten
students at REPS.
The Christmas morning celebration at school began with songs and
performances by teachers and students. This was followed by games
and snacks including coconut ice-cream cones. Frosty the Snowman
appeared and we all sang and danced with Snowman Jessie. Then
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer led the much awaited visit from Santa
as the children sang, “jingle bells” to welcome him. Excited to tell
Santa what they wanted the classes all had their photo taken with
Santa as he handed out white “snowy” marshmallow candies. We
watched “The Night before Christmas” video before it was time for
lunch and to go home for the holiday school break.
ในวันที่16 ธันวาคมที่ผ่านมาแซนตร้าครอสได้มาแวะเยี่ยมนักเรียนใน
แผนกอนุบาลและเนสซอรี่ของโรงเรียนสองภาษาระยอง
เราเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลคริสมาสในช่วงเช้าซึ่งจัดขึ้นที่โรงเรียนเริ่มต้นด้วยการร้อง
เพลงและมีการแสดงโดยคุณครูและนักเรียน และตามมาด้วยการเล่นเกมส์ แจก
ขนมให้กับเด็กๆรวมถึงไอศครีมกะทิสด ทั้งยังมีสโนแมนจากดินแดนหนาวเย็น
ปรากฏกายขึ้นและพวกเราก็ได้ร้องเพลงร่วมกันและเต้นร าร่วมกับ สโนแมน –
เจสซี่ จากนั้นกวางเรนเดียร์น้อยผู้มีจมูกแดงก็น าเด็กๆร้องเพลง “จิงเกอร์เบล”
เพื่อรอคอยการมาถึงและเพื่อต้อนรับแซนตร้าครอส เป็นเรื่องตื่นเต้นส าหรับเด็กๆ
ที่จะบอกกับแซนต้าครอสถึงของขวัญที่พวกเขาอยากได้และเด็กๆทุกห้องก็ได้
ถ่ายรูปกับแซนตร้าซึ่งในมือของแซนตร้านั้นเต็มไปด้วยขนมมาสเมโล่และ
ลูกกวาดมากมาย พวกเราได้ดูภาพยนต์เรื่อง “ คืนก่อนวันคริสมาสร่วมกัน”
ก่อนรับประทานอาหารกลางวันร่วมกันและแยกย้ายกันกลับบ้านเพื่อพักผ่อน
วันหยุดยาวของโรงเรียน

Giving from the Heart: REPS Community Does Its Part with 1st Blood Drive
According to the Brookhaven Laboratory, 1 out of every 10 people entering a hospital will need blood.
On January 8th REPS did its part to give back to the community by hosting its 1st ever blood drive.
Over 100 hundred REPS parents, teachers, and staff participated in the event. The organization that was
responsible for collecting the blood donations was the Rayong Province Red Cross.
A huge thank you goes to everyone that gave blood and participated in REPS 1st Blood Drive, it was a
huge success. Our goal is to have even more participation from the REPS community next year.

5 interesting facts about giving blood:
Every three seconds someone needs blood.
Just one pint of donated blood can help save as many as three people's lives.
If all blood donors gave 2 to 4 times a year, it would help prevent blood shortages.
There are four main blood types: A, B, AB, and O. AB is the universal recipient and O negative is
the universal donor - Blood centers often run short of type O and B blood.

การให้จากหัวใจ : ชาวสองภาษาระยองร่วมใจบริจาคโลหิต
เป็นครั้งแรก
จากข้อมูล the Brookhaven Laboratory กล่าวว่า 1 ใน 10 ของผู้ป่วยที่
เข้ารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลจะมีความต้องการที่ใช้เลือดในการรักษา ใน
วันที่ 8 มกราคม 60 โรงเรียนสองภาษาระยองได้ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการ
ให้คืนกลับสู่ชุมชนโดยเป็นเจ้าภาพในการรับบริจาคโลหิต ครั้งที่ 1 กิจกรรม
นี้ผู้ปกครอง,คุณครูและพนักงานชาวโรงเรียนสองภาษาระยองเข้าร่วมกว่า
100 คน โดยมีสภากาชาติจังหวัดระยองเป็นหน่วยที่เข้ามารับการบริจาค
โลหิตในครั้งนี้
ขอขอบคุณทุกคนเป็นอย่างมากที่เข้าร่วมในการบริจาคโลหิตซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็น

Measuring Matters!! English Science
P5 pupils have been busy using cross-curricular skills whilst learning to estimate and measure matter. Part of
their investigations include figuring out which types of scales can be used to measure different weighted
objects. They also had to work out the calculation of matter! Exciting stuff!

In real life, estimation is part of our everyday experience. When you’re shopping in the grocery store
and trying to stay within a budget, for example, you estimate the cost of the items you put in your cart
to keep a running total in your head. It’s a higher level skill!

Measurement tools and skills have a variety of uses in everyday life. The ability to use measuring tools,
rulers, thermometers, scales, and to estimate with these tools are necessary skills that enable us to

Chemistry competition
On Friday 14 January 2016. Student of Rayong English Programme School entered in the Chemistry
competition for the prize of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn at Kasetsat University. For this
competition, there were 2016 teams. Our student teams who entered the competition were:

สิ่งที่ได้รับจากการเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันตอบปัญหาวิชาเคมี ที่มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ คือ สามารถประเมินความรู้ตัวเอง
ว่าอยู่ในระดับใด ต้องมีการปรับปรุง หรือ เพิ่มเติมทักษะด้านวิชาเคมีอย่างไร นอกจากนั้น ยังมีประสบการณ์ที่ดี และ
ได้รับความรู้เสริมจากการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยได้จัดเตรียมไว้ให้
What I received from the competition was to realize my current knowledge and to know where to
develop or improve within the subject. It provided me with a new experience and enlightened me with
information about myself and the subject.

การได้ไปร่วมการแข่งขันตอบปัญหาเคมีระดับมัธยมปลาย การแข่งขันตอบปันหาเคมี ชิงถ้วยพระราชทานจากฟ้าหญิง
จุฬาภรณ์ ฯ ครั้งที่ 37 เมื่อวันที่ 14 มกราคมที่ผ่านมา ท าให้ดิฉันได้เรียนรู้หลายๆ อย่าง ดิฉันได้เจอเพื่อนใหม่ต่าง
โรงเรียน ได้ประสบการณ์ท าข้อสอบที่มีความหลากหลาย นอกเหนือจากชั้น เรียน ผลสอบของทีมโรงเรียนเราที่ออกมา
นั้น ถึงจะไม่ได้ติด ระดับท็อป แต่ว่าคะแนนเราก็ไล่เลี่ยกับโรงเรียนอื่นๆ ที่ไปแข่งขันจากระยองซึ่งถือเป็นความภาคภูมิใจ
ของโรงเรียน ต้อวขอขอบคุณคุณครูหลายๆ ท่านที่ช่วยคอยสนับสนุนให้พวกเรา ดิฉันคิดว่า การแข่งขันครั้งนี้ถือเป็น
ประสบการณ์ที่ดีมาก
On the 14th of January, I attended the 37th Chemtest at Kasetsart University in Bangkok along with my
teammates. I learnt many things by challenging myself and experienced meeting new people from other
schools. . Even though our score wasn't the top of Thailand, we were within
Rayong which is a great accomplishment for our school . I’d like to say thank you
to all teachers that have supported us and I think it was a wonderful experience.

ศึกษา ค้นคว้า เรียนรู้ประสบการณ์ใหม่นอกรั้วโรงเรียน..
ปีนี้เป็นครั้งแรกที่ผมเข้าร่วมการตอบปัญหาเคมีชิงถ้วยพระราชทานและ
นิทรรศการวิทยาศาสตร์ ผมรู้สึกประทับใจมากเพราะนอกจากได้รับความรู้
ความสนุกสนานจากนิทรรศการแล้วยังได้รับประสบการณ์มากมายจากการ
ท าข้อสอบอีกด้วย ผมหวังว่าในปีหน้าหากมีโอกาส จะเข้าร่วมเป็นส่วน
หนึ่งของการแข่งขันนี้อีก
This is the first time that I joined this contest and the science fair.
I feel very glad because not only did I get knowledge and some
fun from the science fair but I also gained some experience. I hope
next year I get a chance to participate in this competition again.

จากการไปสอบแข่งขันเคมีและชมนิทรรศการที่มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
ครั้ง ท าให้ได้รับความรู้ และความสนุกสนานมากมาย อาทิเช่น การทดลอง
แรงตึงผิว การเรืองแสง การย้อมผ้า ข้อมูลการเรียนต่อที่
มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังได้เห็นสิ่งแวดล้อม
ใหม่ๆ การแต่งกายของโรงเรียนอื่นๆ ห้องเรียนของมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่ง
เป็นสิ่งส าคัญอย่างมาก เพราะเราไม่สามารถหาได้ภายในโรงเรียนของเรา
หรือในหนังสือเรียน และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อชีวิตประจ าวัน ขอบคุณโรงเรียน
สองภาษาระยองที่ให้โอกาส และการสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างยิ่ง
Going to Kasetsart University was lots of fun and I learnt

schools uniforms, different students lifestyles. It's really
important to know this because we can't learn these things in
our school or books and they're helpful to your life skills.

David Majewski
Always in Our Hearts...Teacher David
During the wee hours of January 14th
REPS lost one of its most beloved teachers.
David Majewski was a science and biology
teacher in REPS Secondary. He was enthusiastic,
jovial, and full of ideas. The students
who studied with him enjoyed his classes
and were awed by his knowledge of the
subject. Unfortunately, Teacher David has
left us for a place in heaven.
We want Teacher David to know that
REPS will always remember him and the
joy he brought to our lives. Rest in peace,
our beloved teacher and colleague.
