When an international bulk chemical provider was looking for a reliable<br />
<strong>Liquid</strong> level transmitter that would perform flawlessly on all their chemical tanks<br />
they turned to Icon Process Controls.<br />
<strong>Chemical</strong>s such as HCL, Sulphuric, Nitric, Sodium Hypo and Sodium Hydroxide are<br />
corrosive and hazardous. When filling a tank reliability if essential, spills are costly and<br />
dangerous.<br />
The <strong>Level</strong>pro submersible level sensor was selected at the best instrument<br />
for this application. They are loop powered and provide a 4-20mA output signal. They<br />
are not affected by foam, turbulence, vapors or condensate, and are considerably<br />
less expensive than radar.<br />
The chemical resistant PVC, PP, PVDF, 316SS bodies coupled with Teflon jacketed<br />
cable and Kalrez O-rings make the 100 series level sensors an excellent choice for<br />
corrosive liquid applications.<br />
