Víte, kde naleznete jeden z největších bludných balvanů v České republice?<br />
V obci Liptaň. Připutoval sem až ze Švédska během doby ledové. Jelikož je<br />
velice těžký, nepodaří se vám ho vůbec nadzvednout. Váží totiž téměř pět tun.<br />
Usadil se jižně od Liptaně, nejvýše položené obce Osoblažska. Liptaň je zároveň vstupní branou do<br />
této nádherné oblasti s bohatou historií. Podhorská obec vznikla v roce 1256. Původní ryze české<br />
osídlení se během staletí měnilo, až na počátku století dvacátého tady<br />
měli převahu obyvatelé německé národnosti. To také způsobilo tragédii<br />
v roce 1938, kdy místní přívrženci Henleina povraždili zdejších 6 českých<br />
členů Stráže obrany státu. Liptaňskou tragédii, jak je tato událost<br />
nazývána, připomíná památník v centru obce a pamětní deska u bývalé<br />
četnické stanice. Tichou vzpomínku prvorepublikovým hrdinům můžete<br />
věnovat i v chrámu Na<strong>nebe</strong> vzetí Panny Marie, nádherné novogotické<br />
stavbě z červených cihel z roku 1870. Dále je ke zhlédnutí na vrcholu<br />
obce kaple Panny Marie Pomocné. Obec Liptaň na vás zapůsobí svým<br />
vzhledem a rozlohou. Po vyjití na nejvyšší vrchol obce – Strážnici uvidíte<br />
z dřevěné rozhledny Osoblažsko v celé jeho kráse jako na dlani.<br />

it at all. It weighs nearly five tonnes.<br />

It ended up south of Liptaň, the municipality with the highest elevation in Osoblažsko. Liptaň is also<br />
the gateway to this beautiful area with a rich history. The village in the foothills was founded in 1256.<br />
Originally only settled by Czechs, over the centuries it changed and until the beginning of the twentieth<br />
century its population was predominantly ethnic German. This also caused a tragedy in 1938, when<br />
local supporters of Henlein murdered 6 Czech members of the State Defence Guard. The Liptaň<br />
tragedy, as the event is called, is commemorated by a memorial in the village centre and a memorial<br />
plaque by the former gendarmerie station. You can also silently commemorate the heroes of the First<br />
Czechoslovak Republic at the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, a beautiful neo-Gothic<br />
structure from 1870 built with red bricks. Other interesting landmarks include the Chapel of Our Lady<br />
the Helper at the top of the village. The village of Liptaň will impress you with its appearance and layout.<br />
After ascending the tallest hill in the village, Strážnice, you will be able to get a clear view of Osoblažsko<br />
in all its beauty from the wooden lookout tower.<br />
LUDVÍKOV<br />
Vydejte se do samého nitra nejkrásnějších hor v republice. Mocný pán hor<br />
Praděd tady stráží své přírodní poklady a záleží jen na něm, které vám ukáže.<br />
Branou do jeho království se může stát Ludvíkov. Vznik obce se datuje od období kolem roku<br />
1700, kdy se tady, v zalesněném údolí Bílé Opavy, začaly budovat hutě a slévárny. Dnešní<br />
Ludvíkov, to je především oáza klidu a vysněný ráj pro všechny, kdo touží poznat drsnou krásu<br />
Jeseníků. Desítky cest klikatících se mezi skalami vás pěšky nebo na kole provedou lesy plnými<br />
borůvek a hub, které na podzim září všemi barvami. Na každém vrcholu, který zdoláte, vás čeká<br />
sladká odměna v podobě nádherného výhledu a průzračně čistého vzduchu. V zimě je Ludvíkov<br />
rájem všech lyžařů i běžkařů. Ať přijedete v kteroukoli roční dobu, Jeseníky uchvátí vaši duši.<br />

Journey to the very core of the most beautiful mountains in the Czech<br />
Republic. The powerful Lord of the Mountains, Praděd, overlooks his natural<br />

Ludvíkov can serve as the gateway to his kingdom. The village was founded in approximately 1700,<br />
when steelworks and foundries began being built in the forested valley of Bílá Opava. Today’s Ludvíkov<br />
is mainly an oasis of calm and a paradise of dreams for everyone who wants to get to know the rough<br />
beauty of the Jeseníky Mountains. The dozens of routes winding between the cliffs will guide you on<br />
foot or by bicycle through forests full of blueberries and mushrooms, which display all colours in the<br />
autumn. On each peak that you climb, a reward will await you in the form of a spectacular view and<br />
clean fresh air. In the winter, Ludvíkov is a paradise for downhill and cross-country skiers. No matter<br />
which season you arrive in, the Jeseníky Mountains will impress your soul. And you will know that<br />
this feeling will last forever.<br />
