PÁR SLOV O VZNIKU TÉTO KNIHY
A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE CREATION OF THIS BOOK
Stoupání od Slezské Harty k Pradědu
Velmi jsem se těšil na výrobu knihy Bruntálsko. Kolega Jožo Caban dělal
pozemní redakční a obchodní činnost již v roce 2017 a čekalo se jen na mě
a na můj CBS Flying team. Z minulých let jsme totiž neměli dostatek fotografií,
abychom knihu mohli vydat. A je to paradox, první místo, z kterého jsem vzlétnul
nad území České republiky, totiž bylo letiště v Krnově, abych pro potřeby
malované mapy nafotil město Krnov. Bylo to v roce 2009 a ještě jsem ani nebyl
pilotem. V následujících letech jsem do těchto krásných končin východně od
Jeseníků létal jen výjimečně a občas se podařila i nějaká fotografie. Na nejlepší
„úlovky“ jsem si však vyhradil květen 2018. Krajina je v tuto dobu pro
letecké fotografování nejkrásnější. Lesy jsou svěže zelené a stejně
i pole, na kterých je čerstvě zaseto. Do toho doslova září žlutá řepka
a pomáhá fotografovi dotvořit zajímavou kompozici. V této konstelaci
jsme si o to lépe vychutnali pohledy na Bruntál s krásným zámkem
a rybníkem přesně v centru města, na hrady Cvilín, Sovinec
anebo i na zámek Linhartovy, kde byly dlouhé období vystavené
originály našich malovaných map. Nad obyčejnými obcemi jsme se
snažili vykouzlit neobyčejné kompozice. Někdy byly traktor v pravidelných
liniích pole či stádo krav na zelené louce pro fotografa
zajímavé stejně jako 500letý hrad. Samotný legendární Praděd byl
zlatým hřebem série leteckých dní a zvolili jsme si ho i na obálku knihy.
Nad Bruntálskem jsem létal s fotografy Dušanem Heinem a Jakubem Chovanem.
Na doplnění jsme v knize použili i krásné, zejména zimní fotografie pana
Igora Kozeleka. Kromě zmíněných děkuji i dalším spoluautorům, redaktorům,
koordinátorovi, textařům i grafikům z týmu CBS Nakladatelství. Jejich jména
najdete v tiráži. A moje největší poděkování patří obcím, školám a organizacím,
které vydání této knihy podpořily a staly se zároveň součástí jejího obsahu.
Díky nim vyšla první kniha, která představuje Bruntálsko pohledem dosud
nepoznaným. Z nebe!

Ascending to Praděd from Slezská Harta
I looked forward very much to the production of the book Bruntálsko. My colleague
Jožo Caban did the editorial and promotional activities already in 2017, while my
CBS Flying team and I were waiting. In recent years, we have not had enough photos to
be able to publish this book. And it is a paradox that the first place from where I flew
above the Czech Republic was the airport in Krnov, so that I could take photos of the
town of Krnov for the painted maps. That was in 2009 and I was not even a pilot. In the
years that followed, I flew to those beautiful places east of the Jeseníky Mountains only
exceptionally and I occasionally also managed to take some photos. However, for the best
“catches” I reserved May 2018. The landscape at that time is the most beautiful
for taking photos. The forests are lush and green, as are the fields which have
been freshly sown. The yellow rapeseed shines and helps the photographer
to create an interesting composition. In this constellation we enjoyed the
views of Bruntál even more, with its beautiful château and pond right in
the centre of town, Cvilín Castle, Sovinec Castle and Linhartovy Château,
where our original painted maps were exhibited for a long time. Above
the ordinary municipalities, we have attempted to add charm to atypical
composition. In some places there may have been a tractor in regular lines
of a field or a herd of cattle on a green meadow that were as interesting
as a 500-year-old castle. Legendary Praděd itself was the centrepiece of the
series of aviation days and so we chose it even for the book cover. I flew above
the Bruntál area with photographers Dušan Hein and Jakub Chovan. For the completion
of the book, we used beautiful photos including winter photographs from Igor Kozelek.
Besides those who have been mentioned, I also would like to thank the co-authors,
editors, coordinator, text writers and graphic designers from the CBS Nakladatelství team.
You can find their names in the masthead. And my greatest thanks are extended to the
villages, schools and organisations who have supported the publication of this book as
well as contributed to its contents. They have made it possible to publish the first book,
which presents the Bruntál area from a perspective never seen before. From the sky!
