E are glad to announce a three -day <strong>Programme</strong> on SFMS platform (includes NEFT, LCs, BGs & NG-RTGS) during<br />

WMay 29 – 31, 2013. The features of the programme are given below. We welcome your active participation in<br />

the programme.<br />

The details of the programme are given below:<br />

Introduction:<br />

Usage of SFMS for interbank transfer of funds through NEFT systems is now spread to most of the branches of banks<br />

across India. NEFT has become the country wide retail fund transfer system whereas RTGS (Real Time Gross<br />

Settlement) meets the requirement of large value transfer of funds. This Three-day programme would enable<br />

participants to know details of the working of the NEFT, NGRTGS over SFMS and its operations.<br />

The easy to use Application Program Interfaces (APIs) of SFMS, can be used to integrate all existing and future<br />

applications with the SFMS. Banks can develop comprehensive and efficient tools and applications and integrate<br />

them easily with NEFT, leveraging SFMS.<br />

An Introduction on usage of SFMS for Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (BGs) has also been included in the<br />

programme. The Department of Financial services from Ministry of Finance had released a circular F.No.7/112/2011-<br />

BOA dated on 17th July 2012 insisting the implementation of the above.<br />

Provide an in-depth understanding of implementation and management of NEFT in the bank<br />

Enable participants to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the operation of NEFT<br />

To make participants understand the technology used in SFMS for sending and receiving Letter of Credit and<br />

Bank Guarantees<br />

To create awareness on the ISO20022 standard and different XML messages used in NGRTGS.<br />

Overview of SFMS and NEFT<br />

Concepts of User Administration, DR set up and MQ<br />

Creation/Verification/ Authorization of NEFT, NGRTGS Messages<br />

Integration and Troubleshooting.<br />

Profile of Participants:<br />

Officials from the NEFT, RTGS, IT and Trade Finance teams of banks.<br />

End Use:<br />

After successful completion of the training, the participants would have an in-depth understanding of the working<br />

and implementation of the NEFT, LCs, BGs and NGRTGS.<br />

The fee for the programme is ` 16,854/- (Rupees Sixteen Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Four only) i.e., ` 15,000/-<br />

plus Service Tax @ 12.36%, per participant. It includes boarding, lodging, training, course material, kit, and other<br />

infrastructure overheads.
