Liberal VersionThis packet contains 1 prayer sheet and 16 cards with the Yotzer Or divided into phrases. Copy thecard sheets onto index card weight paper. (Optional: Laminate the cards.) Cut cards out. Make acopy of the prayer sheet on 20 lb paper for each student.1. Practice Reading: Shuffle the cards and deal them to the students. Each student reads his/hercard in the order the prayer is written.2. Tic-Tac-Toe: Divide the class into two teams. Draw a tic-tac-toe grid on the blackboard. Giveeach player a prayer sheet. Players on each team take turns choosing a card and reading theprayer phrase. To keep the students engaged, ask the other team if the player is correct. If theplayer is correct, he/she puts an “X” or an “O” on the tic-tac-toe grid. If the player makes a mistake,play passes to the other team.3.
