Idstein, July 2012 – From Summer 2013, the JACK WOLFSKIN FAMILY <strong>collection</strong> will be<br />
known as KIDS OUTDOOR. <strong>The</strong> <strong>new</strong> <strong>name</strong> is to make the technical performance of<br />
the kids’ <strong>collection</strong> clearer. But it’s not just the <strong>name</strong> that’s changing... Kid’s<br />
weather-protection jackets get a <strong>new</strong>, increased technical spec with the hydrostatic<br />
head upgraded to 10,000 mm (<strong>Jack</strong> <strong>Wolfskin</strong>’s <strong>new</strong> minimum rating). And that’s for<br />
jackets from € 79.95. Smaller users are also sure to like the exciting <strong>new</strong> <strong>colours</strong><br />
<strong>and</strong> prints.<br />
For Summer 2013 JACK WOLFSKIN is introducing a <strong>new</strong>, checked FLEX SHIELD softshell for its<br />
boys’ <strong>and</strong> girls’ apparel. <strong>The</strong> fabric is active stretch, wind <strong>and</strong> water resistant <strong>and</strong><br />
extraordinarily breathable – perfect for kids’ summer use. See for example, the KIDS LIGHT<br />
GRID JACKET softshell.<br />
On another front, the KIDS MOUNTAIN RIDGE JACKET has TEXAPORE DENSUS 2L (a tried<strong>and</strong>-tested<br />
<strong>Jack</strong> <strong>Wolfskin</strong> Trekking fabric) to provide superb weather protection for budding<br />
explorers. <strong>The</strong> 2-layer laminate is both robust <strong>and</strong> lightweight.<br />
<strong>The</strong> coming summer season also sees an array of <strong>new</strong> daypacks for kids. While the<br />
COMPANION has full weather protection for the journey to school, the KICKFLIP has a<br />
skateboard attachment option for leisure time use. An extra feature for kids aged three to six<br />
is the pawprint stencil card that serves as a <strong>name</strong> tag, stencil <strong>and</strong> ruler.<br />
For summer camping, the GROW UP STAR is a <strong>new</strong> sleeping bag designed to grow with the<br />
kids. It has an intelligent design that zips out to extend in length.<br />
