Las diferencias regionales del sector público<br />
ESPAñol (2009-2010)<br />
El objetivo de este estudio ha sido la territorialización de los<br />
gastos e ingresos públicos de cada una de las cuatro administraciones<br />
que componen el sector público, entre 2000 y 2008.<br />
Mediante la homogeneización y sistematización de diversas<br />
fuentes de datos del sector público se ha gene rado una base<br />
de datos con detalle por funciones y capítulos de gasto. A partir<br />
de esta información, en la monografía resultante se ha ana lizado<br />
la intensidad de las actuaciones del sector público a nivel<br />
regional, así como en las distintas funciones (protección social,<br />
sanidad, educación, infraestructuras, etc.), tanto desde la<br />
perspectiva de la eficiencia como de la equidad interte rri to rial.<br />
También se ha contemplado el alcance de las disparidades y<br />
desequilibrios que presenta el gasto público en las distintas<br />
regiones en el periodo analizado, y sus implicaciones.<br />

A partir de las ponencias presentadas en el seminario<br />
internacional Pasado y presente: de la Gran Depresión<br />
Regional differences In the Spanish public<br />
sector (2009-2010)<br />
The aim of this study was the territorialization of public<br />
spending and revenue for each of the four administrations<br />
that make up the public sector, between 2000 and 2008.<br />
Various sources of public sector data were systematized<br />
and homogenized so as to build a database itemized by<br />
function and expenditure. Based on this information, the<br />
resulting study examined the intensity of public sector<br />
performance at a regional level and in different areas<br />
(social protection, health, education, infrastructure, etc.),<br />
both in terms of efficiency and inter-regional equity. Also<br />
taken into account were the extent of the disparities and<br />
imbalances found in public spending in different regions<br />
during the period analyzed, along with their implications.<br />
