yönünde bir algı oluşturulmaktadır. Bu
kavram, dünya kamuoyunda İslam’ın tüm kötülüklerin
kaynağı olarak lanse eden anlayışı
güçlendirmektedir.
Cihat/Cihatçı kavramıyla da şiddet eylemleri, terörizm
ve terörist anlamı kastedilmektedir. Halbuki
bu kavram Müslüman bakış açısına göre,
Tanrı’ya yakınlaşmak için girilen mücadele, şiddetin
tüm türlerinden uzak kendi iradesini terk
edip Tanrı’nın emirleri çerçevesinde pozitif bir
hayat sürmek anlamına gelmektedir. Dolayısıyla
Batı medyasının kutsal dinî bir kavramı şiddet
ve terörle özdeşleştiren bu kavram manipülasyonu
İslam’ın şiddet eylemleriyle dolu bir din
olduğu algısını vermektedir.
Raporda değerlendirilen diğer bir kavram da
“Ilımlı İslam/Müslüman”dır. Bu kavramla, terörizm
ve aşırılığı reddeden bir İslam yorumu
veya Müslüman, Batı dış politikalarını destekleyen
Müslüman, dindar olmayan Müslüman,
hatta eski Müslüman anlamları kastedilmektedir.
İslam’ın özünde bütünüyle toleranssız
ve agresif olduğu algısını yaratan bu kavram,
Müslümanların çoğunu aşırıcı, toleranssız, radikal
veya şiddet yanlısı olarak sunmaktadır.
İslam’ın farklı türleri olduğu ve İslam’dan ne
kadar uzaklaşılırsa şiddetten de o kadar uzaklaşılacağı
algısı yaratan kavram, dindar Müslümanları

yanlısı olarak sunmaktadır.
Şeriat kavramı ile de İslamî normlar çerçevesinde
bireysel ve toplumsal yönetim sistemi kastedilmektedir.
Ancak yürütülen manipülasyonlarla
Şeriat; zina yapanları taşlayan, hırsızların elini
kesen, modası geçmiş, sabit ve evrensel insan
haklarına karşı bir hukukî sistem olarak algılanmaktadır.

Another concept assessed in the report is “Moderate
Islam/Muslim”. With this concept, an interpretation
of Islam that rejects extremism and
terrorism, a Muslim who supports Western foreign
policy, a non-practicing Muslim or sometimes
even a former Muslim are intended. This
concept which creates the perception that Islam
as a whole is intrinsically intolerant and aggessive
presents the majority of Muslims extremist,
intolerant, radical or violent. This concept which
creates the perception that Islam has many versions
and how much you get away from Islam,
equally you get away from violence, interprets
religious Muslims who are passionate rather
than moderate about their religion as ones who
take extreme or exclusive positions and pro-terror.
With the concept of Sharia, the meaning of
individual and social management system within
the scope of Islamic norms is intended. However,
it is perceived as a legal system that stones
the adulterers, cuts the hands of the thieves, and
is outdated, fixed and against universal human
rights owing to the manipulations. 4
