Call of Duty (the “Tournament”) Official Rules and Regulations

The following prizes will be awarded based on the final results of the National Finals:
o First place: $20,000 CAD cash prize and travel prize, including Team Pass and Team
travel/accommodation expenses for 2017 CWL Anaheim Open, June 16-18, 2017 (valued at $7,000).
• “Team Pass” includes entry for Team of four (4) players into Open Bracket at CWL Anaheim
Open. Only players that were Team Members of the winning Team during the National Finals are
eligible to participate. By entering into the 2017 CWL Anaheim Open, all players agree to comply
with and abide by the rules & regulations of said event.
• If one (1) or more Team Members on the first place Team choose not to or are unable to compete
as part of the winning Team at the CWL Anaheim Open because they are registered to play in
that tournament as part of another team, the first place Team will forfeit the travel prize in its
entirety, and no alternate prize component will be awarded. The opportunity to compete in the
CWL Anaheim Open will then be awarded to the Team that placed second. If the trip is unable to
be awarded to the second place team for the same reason, it will go unawarded. For greater
clarity, the first place Team will still be deemed the winner of the tournament and will receive the
$20,000 cash prize.
• Travel/accommodation expenses for each Team Member to include economy class airfare from
the closest airport with direct flights to Santa Ana and paid accommodation from June 16, 2017
through to June 18, 2017, at the Administrator’s selection.
o Second place: $10,000 CAD cash prize
o Third/fourth place: $4,000 CAD cash prize
o Fifth/sixth place: $2,000 CAD cash prize
o Seventh/eighth place: $1,000 CAD cash prize
o Ninth through thirty-second place (awarded based on final results of the Online Playoffs): $400 CAD cash
prize
• Additional prizes to be awarded during the Tournament are set out below:
o Regional Qualifiers regional event runner-up prize: Each Team Member on each runner-up Team will
receive a $20 PlayStation ® Store Cash Card, and two (2) Cineplex Admit One movie passes (96 Runnerup
prizes, approximate retail value of each prize: $46.00).
• Total approximate retail value of all cash and additional prizes $65,016. Cash prizes will be divided equally between
all participating Team Members.
• Travel Allowance:
Each Team Member on each of the eight (8) Championship Qualifying Teams that played during the Online
Playoffs (a “Championship Qualifier”, or “Championship Qualifiers”) will be provided with airfare (economy class and
from the closest airport with direct flights to Toronto) and paid accommodation from March 25, 2017 through to
March 26, 2017 at the Administrator’s selection. If a Championship Qualifier lives close enough to the location of
the National Finals that airfare would not be reasonably required (as determined by Administrator) an alternate form
of transportation may be provided. Hotel accommodation will be provided for all Championship Qualifiers.
Championship Qualifying Teams must be available to travel to Toronto on the dates set out in the Tournament
Rules or they will forfeit their right to participate in the National Finals. All decisions of the Administrator are final.
All Travel, including travel allowance and trip to 2017 CWL Anaheim Open: The specific details of the trips will be
determined by Administrator at its sole discretion. No change in travelling arrangements can be made once the
booking has been confirmed. The Releasees (as defined below) are not responsible if any scheduled event is
delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason. All other costs and expenses associated with the trips , including
but not limited to, ground transportation between the Entrant’s residence and the departure airport, and between the
destination airport and hotel, additional accommodations if required, meals, gratuities, medical and travel insurance,
travel documentation (i.e. valid passport), items of a personal nature, applicable taxes (including airport taxes),
personal charges at lodging, luggage fees, security fees or other expenses not specifically described herein are the
sole responsibility of the Entrant. Entrants will be required have a valid Canadian passport to travel to the US and to
present ID at hotel check-in along with a valid credit card for potential incidentals or damages.
9. GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS
• All prizes are non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded, without substitutions. In the event that a prize, or
