Dance group Jampadracis<br />
Til generalforsamlingen har vi fået medlemmer af gruppen<br />
Jampadracis til at optræde for os. De optræder med<br />
traditionelle danse og i nationaldragter.<br />
Dance group “Jampadracis” is founded in the Hanseatic<br />
League town Limbaži in 1985.<br />
There are various Latvian dances in “Jampadracis” repertoire<br />
- ethnographic dances and their staging, gold<br />
fund of scenic dances, popular dances and Latvian new<br />
choreographs’ original dances. There are thirty dancers<br />
in the dance group. The director is Andis Lēnmanis.<br />
Dance group takes part in different activities in Limbaži,<br />
Rīga and all over Latvia. “Jampadracis” has given concerts<br />
and taken part in different festivals also outside<br />
Latvia - in Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Norway,<br />
Hungary, EXPOO-2000, <strong>Danmark</strong>, Russia, Portugal,<br />
France and Spain.<br />
In 2003 Dance group “Jampadracis” has received The<br />
Prize of popular art from the Ministry of Culture of Latvian<br />
Republic.<br />
