Jeg, den undertegnede tilsynsførende dyrlæge ved sædopsamlingsstationen for hingstesæd, godkendt af
Fødevarestyrelsen, attesterer hermed at/
I, the undersigning authorized Veterinarian at the semen collection centre for equine semen, approved
by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, hereby certify that:
1. Sæd er blevet opsamlet og behandlet på ovenfor anførte sædopsamlingsstation, som er under mit
tilsyn/
The semen was collected and processed at the semen collection centre, which is under my
supervision.

2. Der har ikke været konstateret tilfælde af equin infektiøs anæmi, hesteencephalitis, kontagiøs equin
metritis (CEM), Borna Disease og Surra på sædopsamlingsstationen, hvor donor hingsten har opholdt
sig, i de seneste 12 måneder forud for opsamlingen af sæd til eksport. I tilfældet kontagiøs equin
metritis (CEM) har der ikke på sædopsamlingsstationen været konstateret tilfælde af denne sygdom
siden starten af den forudgående avlssæson/
No cases of equine infectious anaemia, equine encephalitis, contagious equine metritis (CEM),
Borna disease and Surra have been recorded at the semen collection centre, on which the donor
stallion has resided, during the past 12 months prior the collection of semen for export. In the
case of contagious equine metritis (CEM) no cases of this disease have been recorded at the
semen collection centre since the commencement of the previous breeding season.
3. Donor hingsten /the donor stallion:
a) har opholdt sig uafbrudt i på den omtalte sædopsamlingsstationen i mindst tredive (30) dage
umiddelbart forud for opsamlingen af sæd til eksport og har i den tidsperiode ikke været
benyttet til naturlig bedækning/
has been continuously resident on the mentioned semen collection centre for a minimum
of thirty (30) days immediately prior to collection of the semen for export and has during
this period not been used for natural breeding.
b) har opholdt sig i Danmark siden fødslen eller i en sammenhængende periode på mindst 12
måneder forud for opsamlingen af sæd til eksport/
has been resident in Denmark since birth or for a continuous period of at least 12
months prior to the collection of the semen for export.
c) er blevet undersøgt indenfor 21 dage forud for opsamling af sæd til eksport og fundet klinisk
rask og fri for smitsomme sygdomme, som den gældende dyreart er modtagelig for/
has been examined within 21 days prior to collection of the semen for export and found
to be clinically healthy and free from communicable diseases to which the species is
susceptible.
d) er blevet indenfor enogtyve (21) dage forud for opsamlingen af sæd til eksport til Zimbabwe
undersøgt for infektiøs anæmi ved en agargel-immunodiffusions eller en Coggins test med
negativt resultat - på følgende dato/
was tested for equine infectious anaemia (EIA) using an agar gel immunodiffusion or a
Coggins test with a negative result within twenty-one (21) days prior to collection of
semen for export to Zimbabwe - on the following date:

e) er blevet undersøgt med negative resultater for CEM ved dyrkningsundersøgelse på tre (3)
svaberprøver udtaget fra a) præputium, b) sinus urethralis og c) fossa glandis (inkl. fra
divertikulum fossa glandis) ved 3 forskellige lejligheder med mindst 7 dages interval imellem
hver prøve, indenfor 30 dage umiddelbart forud for opsamlingen af sæd - på følgende datoer/
was tested by culture for CEM with negative results on tree (3) specimens (swabs)
collected from the a) prepuce (sheath), b) urethral sinus and c) fossa glandis (including
the diverticulum of the fossa glandis) on tree (3) separate times with at least 7 days
between the tests within thirty (30) days immediately prior to the date of semen

Efter udtagning af prøverne for kontagiøs equin metritis (CEM) blev donor dyrene holdt i
isolation på ovennævnte sædopsamlingsstation for hingstesæd, der er erklæret fri for kontagiøs
equin metritis, indtil tidspunktet for opsamling af sæden til eksport /
After testing for Contagious equine metritis (CEM) the donor animals were kept in
isolation on the above mentioned semen collection centre, certified to be free of
Contagious equine metritis, until the time of semen collection for export.
f) er blevet undersøgt to (2) gange med et interval på mindst 21 dage imellem undersøgelserne
for equin viral arteritis med negative resultater - på følgende datoer - og den sidste
undersøgelse blev udført indenfor 21 dage forud for opsamling af sæden til eksport/
was tested twice for equine viral arteritis with an interval of at least 21 days between the
tests with negative results on the following dates and the last test was carried out within
21 days of collection of the semen for export.

Alle laboratorieundersøgelser blev foretaget på et dansk laboratorium, der er godkendt dertil af
Fødevarestyrelsen/
All tests were performed in a laboratory recognised by the Danish Veterinary and Food
Administration for those specific tests.
4. Hygiejniske forholdsregler blev taget under opsamling, behandling og opbevaring af sæden for at
undgå forurening med sygdomsfremkaldende mikroorganismer/
Sanitary precautions were observed during collection, processing and storing of the semen to
prevent contamination with pathogenic microorganisms;
5. Alt udstyr, som blev brugt til opsamling, behandling, opbevaring og transport af sæden i denne
sending, var enten nyt eller rengjort og desinficeret før brug/
Any equipment used in the collection, processing, storage and transport of the semen in this
consignment was either new or cleaned and disinfected before use.

2. Efter behørig undersøgelse har jeg ingen grund til at tvivle på rigtigheden af den af Fødevarestyrelsen
i Danmark godkendte tilsynsførende dyrlæges attestation/

authorised supervising Veterinarian approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food
Administration in Denmark;
3. Kontagiøs equin metritis (CEM), ondartet beskelersyge (Dourine), hesteencephalitis, infektiøs viral
arteritis og infektiøs equin anæmi er officielt anmeldepligtige sygdomme i Danmark/
Contagious equine metritis (CEM), Dourine, equine encephalitis, Infectious viral arteritis and
infectious equin anaemia are officially notifiable diseases in Denmark.
4. Ondartet beskelersyge (dourine) har aldrig været konstateret i Danmark og snive har ikke været
konstateret siden 1928/
Glanders have never been recorded in Denmark and dourine has not been recorded since 1928.
5. Beholderen, som bliver brugt til at transportere sæden til Zimbabwe, er forseglet af mig.
Seglnummeret er anført i certifikatets punkt II/
The container used to transport the semen to Zimbabwe was sealed by me and the sealnumber
is recorded on the certificate point II.
