La sub competencia extra-lingüística es
definida como:
Conocimiento Bicultural: Es acerca del
conocimiento sobre las culturas de partida y
de llegada
Conocimiento Enciclopédico: Sobre el
mundo en general
The extralinguistic sub competence is
defined as:
Bicultural Knowledge: Knowledge of the
source cultures and the target cultures.
Encyclopedic Knowledge: This is the
knowledge about the world in general.
Thematic Knowledge: About specialized
topics and themes.
Conocimiento Temático: Sobre temas
especializados.
DIFERENCIAS ENTRE LAS
COMPETENCIAS LINGÜÍSTICAS Y
EXTRALINGÜÍSTICAS
Debemos saber entonces, que entre estas
competencias existen grandes diferencias
que a la hora de traducir o interpretar se
complementan entre ellas para perfeccionar
nuestro mensaje en la lengua meta. Algunas
de las diferencias son:
La competencia lingüística es un
caso procedimental que se enfoca en
la manera en que se traducirá, y lo
extralingüístico es un caso
declaratorio que se enfoca más en el
qué que en el cómo.
En lo lingüístico se preocupa más en
lo textual y gramatical del texto a
