Die NordBau Neumünster ist die
bedeutendste, überregionale Baufach-
messe im Norden Deutschlands.
Seit 1956 bietet sie Fachpublikum
und Bauherren eine Vielzahl baube-
zogener Informationen und fördert
Kommunikation und Synergieeffekte.
Seminare und Tagungen bieten Foren
für Innovationen, für fachlichen Aus-
tausch und Kontakte. Die NordBau
Neumünster schafft die Grundlage für
Impulse und Entscheidungen, infor-
miert und verbindet; - im jährlichen
Rhythmus.
Neumünster, eine Stadt, die geogra-
phisch und verkehrstechnisch hervor-
ragend als Begegnungsstätte der Bau-
wirtschaft in der Mitte Schleswig-
Holsteins und im Norden von Hamburg
gelegen ist. Ein direkter Zubringer von
der Nord-Süd-Autobahn A 7 sowie der
ICE-Anschluss in Neumünster und der
über einen Busshuttle (Kielius) nur
45 Minuten entfernte Flughafen Ham-
burg bieten beste Anbindung an das
Messegelände.
Rund 75.000 Besucher nutzen jährlich
dieses interessante und in seinem
Mix hervorzuhebende Forum des
Hoch- und Tiefbaus sowie der Kommu-
nal- und Umwelttechnik. Die NordBau
hat sich den Status erhalten, alle
Bereiche der Bauwirtschaft in seiner
Gesamtheit und mit den daraus entste-

henden Verknüpfungen der einzelnen
Gewerke zeigen zu können. Fachbe-
zogene Sonderthemen werden je nach
Aktualität und Verlangen verstärkt
präsentiert. Zu den Besuchern zählen
vor allem Ingenieure, Architekten, Un-
ternehmen aller Gewerke, Baubehör-
den, Kommunen, Baustoffhandel,
Wohnungsunternehmen, Kammern
und Verbände sowie öffentliche und
private Bauherren.
Aktuelle Produkte und Dienstleis-
tungen werden von jährlich rund
900 Ausstellern aus 15 Ländern auf
etwa 20.000 m² Hallenfläche und auf
einem Freigelände von ca. 45.000 m²
gezeigt.
Begleitet wird die Fachmesse von
einem umfangreichen Kongresspro-
gramm. Mit ständig am Markt ausge-
richteten Fachbeiträgen der gesamten
Breite zum Thema „Bau“ nutzen die
Verbände und Organisationen dieses
Angebot der Information und Weiter-
bildung im Rahmen der NordBau.
Auf diese Weise bietet die NordBau
mit ihrer einzigartigen Atmosphäre

NordBau is the biggest technical building
Fair of its kind in north Germany. Since
1956 the Fair promotes communication
and offers a lot of building-information
to all visitors, experts as well as private
persons. Seminars and conferences
provide for a level for innovation, expert
discussions and contacts. Every year
NordBau informs, connects and gives
the basis for impulses and decisions.
Neumünster, a city situated in the heart
of Schleswig-Holstein, northern of Ham-
burg, and which from the point of view
of access, has proved to be geographi-
cally a very suitable meeting place for
the building industry. A direct motorway
exit from the highway A 7, an excellent
Intercity Express connection and only a
45-minutes drive from Hamburg Airport
by busshuttle „Kielius“ are best require-
ments for reaching the exhibition area.

„Rendez-Vous“ for the Building Industry
According to market demand specialised
topics are strongly represented during
the NordBau. Visitors to the Fair include
engineers, architects, contractors of all
trades, governmental building authori-
ties, housing agents, chambers/guilds
and associations as well as official and
private persons faced with the questions
of building. Modern topics and products
of the building industry are yearly pre-
sented by about 900 exhibitors from 15
countries in a covered area of around
20.000 m² and in an outdoor area of
about 45.000 m².
Attached is a high-powered congress pro-
gramme. Associations and organisations
make use of information and further
development offered within the frame
of NordBau, by participating in specia-
lised, competent and expert discussions
on all subjects related to „building“. In
this way, NordBau contributes with its
unique atmosphere to an excellent plat-
form for good discussions and renewal of
contacts and getting new clients.
Main characteristics are the variety of
specialised fields and harmonious fee-
ling of the Fair.
