Disregard–Compassion–Forgiveness
The human mind possesses the valuable transformative ability for steady
growth and renewal. Precondition is the unfolding of our spiritual potential
of loving kindness and forgiveness. A human being is able to forgive,
if the experienced suffering and disregard is acknowledged. In that sense
there exists a close and transformative relationship between perpetrator
and victim, being a source of total renewal.
This dialogue is dedicated to the question of healing the relationship between
perpetrator and victim, not just on the level of a historical and
collective process, but also regarding the fact that no human being can
live an innocent life and each of us also can become a victim. What does
such irrefutable reality mean for peacefully living together of all human
beings on our planet?
What responsibility do we take out of it? Knowing that peacefully living
together is the basic precondition sharing our resources, and our mental
and spiritual capacities for the sake of the following generations, giving
them the chance to live their lives in dignity.
