Bei einzelnen Komponenten wie z.B. Patchkabeln, Modulen und Patchpanels erfolgt die<br />
Klassifizierung in Kategorien:<br />
Kategorie 5E bis 100 MHz<br />
Kategorie 6 bis 250 MHz<br />
Kategorie 6A bis 500 MHz<br />
Kategorie 7 bis 600 MHz<br />
Kategorie 7A bis 1000 MHZ<br />
Bei installierten Komponenten wird nach Übertragungsklassen klassifiziert:<br />
Klasse D bis 100 MHz<br />
Klasse E bis 250 MHz<br />
Klasse EA bis 500 MHz<br />
Klasse F bis 600 MHz<br />
Klasse FA bis 1000 MHz<br />
