The special properties of this group of<br />

steels are tried and proven in these respects:<br />

hardness to counteract wear, ample toughness,<br />

and high deformation resistance to<br />

withstand frequent overload conditions.<br />

The use of our wear-resistant special structural<br />

steels <strong>XAR</strong> ® consequently makes it<br />

possible to exert better control over unfavorable<br />

deformations in bottom plates or<br />

dump bodies or over the buckling of entire<br />

bottom elements, and to do without the<br />

need for thicker plates.
