Disqualifikation bei Rennabruch
Teilnehmer welche das Rennen abbrechen ohne
sich bei der Rennleitung abzumelden werden für
den Rest der Veranstaltung disqualifiziert. Hierzu
wird eine neue Rennabruchnummer auf dem
Notfallauf-
CP sofort mitzuteilen. Für die Tracker ist eine
Kaution von 65 Euro zu hinterlegen. Mietgebühr
für die Tracker ist 35 Euro.
Reiserücktrittversicherung:
Disqualification by a stage brakeup
Participants who break up a stage without
reporting this to the race organisers will be
disqualified from the race. In the case of
breaking up a stage a phone number on the
emergency sticker will be added which the
participants should use to report their brake up
right after they have left the track. The board
card must likewise be submitted to the Race
Office at end of the stage at the latest.
Introduction of GPS trackers
Considered from 2013 a GPS tracker will be
affixed to the vehicle for observing the
participants if they keep the prescribed route as
well as for recording their speeding. Another
purpose of the GPS tracker is to calculate a time
credit to the driving time of the participant if he
has provided assistance to another participant in
case of accident.
The new thing is that if a participant has
provided assistance due to an accident, he only
gets this time credit if he has immediately
reported the case at the finish. There will be
corresponding blank forms available for this
purpose at the finish point. Later requests for
blank forms will not be accepted.
Tracker: Mounts and cable sets for GPS trackers
can be ordered in advance online from our eshop
(at a cost of approximately 20 Euros). They
remain property of the participant. The tracker
will be affixed to the car during the technical
scruteneering. The participant is responsible
himself for the electrical power supply of the
tracker at all times and the availability of
connection to GPS satellites (both visible on a
display). In case that some problems with the
tracker appear during the special stage (SS) the
participant should immediately report these at
the next check point (CP). A deposit of 65 Euro
should be made for the tracker. The rental fee
for the tracker amounts to 35 Euro.
Travel cancellation insurance:
This year for the first time we offer the
opportunity for taking out travel cancellation
bekannten Essensmarken. Beim
Verpflegungszelt wird diese an einer
Kontrollstation eingelesen. Des Weiteren kann
mit der Keykarte beim Infopoint das Roadbook
fahrzeugspezifisch abgeholt werden. Der Vorteil
Some of the road sections given in the road book
can be driven around by the participant, in order
some difficulties and risks to be avoided. This
may be followed by possible time penalty (see
section “Scoring”). Like before, it's important to
exclude the unnecessary risk. Health goes before
the placement.
In the case of an injury or health troubles, arised
during the event by the long-lasting exhaustive
conditions, the participant, on the basis of the
disclaimer, discharges the doctors from the
patient confidentiality in order to protect other
participants from the possible risk.
The responsible rally doctor can forbid the
further participation in the event. The organiser
as well as the participant are bound to such
decision.
Technical service
A tyre service for demounting of tyres will be on
site. Participants are asked to bring the
necessary parts like tubes, valves, and tyres with
them.
The rag picker truck will help the defected
vehicles to get to the camp. It's allowed to have
your own technical service in the camp - not on
the evaluated stages. Commercial services that
would like to sell their services to the
participants are asked to get in touch with the
organiser.
Key card
Everyone on the rally will receive a key card. The
card is as big as a credit card and replaces the
meal voucher. The card will be read at the
control station in the catering tent. With the key
card you will also be able to collect the roadbook
at the infopoint. Another benefit of the key
card is that the ragpicker truck will be able to
measure out through the system which vehicles
neben Abrechnungsvereinfachung mit Küche
und Vermeidung von Mehrfachausgaben der
Roadbooks liegt darin, dass die Lumpensammler
über das System erfahren können, wer
tatsächlich noch draußen ist und gesucht
werden muss.
Wir bitten dennoch jeden Teilnehmer sich bei
Rallyeabbruch beim Infopoint/
Organisationsbüro zu melden – um notwendige
Suchaktionen zu vermeiden! Wer sich nicht bis
Etappenschluß abmeldet ( Telefonisch oder
Infopoint) wird für die restlichen Tage
disqualifiziert.
Verpflegung
Im Teilnahmepreis ist eine Verpflegung wie folgt
vorgesehen: Die Küche startet am Samstagabend
mit einem warmen Abendessen, gefolgt von
morgendlichem Frühstück, Lunchpaket für
unterwegs. Der Service endet mit dem
Abendessen bei der Siegerehrung. Frühstück am
Sonntag wird gegen geringe Gebühr vom
Catering selbst ausgeführt.
Die Verpflegung ist ohne Getränke. Jeder
Teilnehmer hat selbst Besteck und Teller
mitzunehmen. Equipment zur Reinigung wird
bereitgestellt.
Sanitäre Anlagen
Es muss davon ausgegangen werden, dass nicht
während der gesamten Veranstaltung sanitäre
Anlagen zur Verfügung stehen. Wenn Anlagen
vorhanden sind, so sollte man nicht mit
westlichem Standard rechnen, sondern damit,
dass es sich um Armeecamps handelt.
Presse
Die Presse begleitet die gesamte Veranstaltung.
Sie wird an den interessantesten Stellen filmen
und fotografieren, in den Camps die Teilnehmer
interviewen und begleitende Reportagen
machen. Es ist im Sinne der Veranstaltung, dass
Presse und Teilnehmer kooperieren und sich
keinesfalls innerhalb der Wertung behindern.
Sollten bei der Veranstaltung Foto- oder
Filmaufnahmen der Teilnehmer gemacht
werden, so zeigen sich die Teilnehmer durch
Anerkennung der allgemeinen
Geschäftsbedingungen mit der Verwendung und
are stuck on the way and have to be helped.
All participants, should they break up the stage,
are asked to report to the infopoint with their
key card, in order to avoid unnecessary
searching.
Catering
In the price is included the following catering:
the kitchen begins on Saturday evening with a
warm meal followed by breakfast on Sunday and
lunch packet en route. The service ends with
dinner after the award ceremony. The kitchen
offers also breakfast on Sunday for a small fee.
Caution: The catering doesn't include drinks.
Each participant has to bring his own cutlery
and plates. Washing liquids will be available.
Sanitary facilities
It must be assumed that not during the whole
event sanitary facilities will be available. If they
are on hand, they do not represent the western
standard but that of an army camp.
The press
The press representatives will accompany the
whole event. They will be recording and
making photos in the most interesting places,
interviewing the participants in the camp and
making reportages. For the sake of the rally the
press and participants should cooperate and do
not disturb each other in their jobs. The
participants do not have any rights to the
recorded materials.

9. Insurance
- PLEASE READ THE WHOLE PASSAGE
CAREFULLY –
Despite the professional and safe
accomplishment of the activities accidents can
not be excluded. The Breslau participants are
insured by the organizer against certain risks
that are described later on.
The adventure rally Breslau consists in
orientation racing that leads the participants to
the one finish point without any regulations as
to the average velocity.
Some insurance companies refuse to cover the
automobile liability in the case of a participation
in motor sport events. The grounds of the
excluding from the insurance: ."A participation in
motor sport events is excluded from the
insurance" - that means that without the coinsurance
of the organiser the participant is not
insured!
The co-insurance of the organizer offers the
following coverage:
a. The auto liability co-insurance of the
organizer offers the following coverage:
Insurance on the joining stages. The obligatory
motorsports liability co-insurance of the
organizer offers to the participants the so called
"subsidiary coverage". Subsidiary coverage
means that the motorsports liability insurance is
valid for the vehicles with their own auto liability
insurance and whose policy excludes the
coverage of the participation in motor sport
events.
Versicherungsschutz für zugelassene
Kraftfahrzeuge insoweit, als eine Leistungspflicht
aus der für das Fahrzeug bestehenden eigenen
Kfz-Haftpflichtversicherung nicht besteht.
Hintergrund:
Ein Teilnehmer mit deutscher Kfz-
Haftpflichtversicherung bewegt sich im
normalen öffentlichen Straßenverkehr und
genießt grundsätzlich hierfür
Versicherungsschutz über seine eigene Kfz-
Haftpflichtversicherung.
Sonderfall:
Ein Teilnehmer mit ausländischer Kfz-
Haftpflichtversicherung bewegt sich unter
Umständen im deutschen Verkehrsraum mit
einer Haftpflichtversicherung, die dem in
Deutschland geforderten Mindeststandart an
Background:
A participant with the German auto liability
insurance is a part of the traffic on the rules of
their private auto liability insurance. However, it
turned out that some insurance companies
refuse to cover the joining stages, because, as
they reason, the joining stages are between the
assessment stages and thus remain a part of the
motor sport event. The co-insurance of the
organiser covers exactly this case, i.e. the
participant receives the subsidiary coverage for
the case if their own insurance company should
refuse to settle such claims.
Exception:
A participant with other than the German auto
liability insurance is a part of the traffic on the
rules of their private auto liability insurance that
doesn't meet the German minimum standards of
the limit of indemnity. The limit of indemnity
complies with the German law, because the
organizer is registered in Germany and also in
Germany closes all their contracts. For those
persons the co-insurance of the organizer
assures the whole (primary) coverage without
the care if their own insurance meets the
German minimum standards of the amount
covered or not.
Insurance of the participants in the timed
stages.
Most insurance companies refuse to cover the
active participation in motor sport events. In
such cases the co-insurance of the organizer
assures the so called "primary coverage" and
offers the cover of 100%.
Dieser Tatsache trägt die Mitversicherung der
Teilnehmer in der Motorsport-Kfz-
Haftpflichtversicherung des Veranstalters
Rechnung, die sich auf die gesetzliche Haftpflicht
der Teilnehmer (Versicherte:
Fahrer/Beifahrer/Fahrzeughalter und -
eigentümer) erstreckt und eine sog.
„Primärdeckung“ zu 100% für unvorhersehbare
Personen die Abenteuerrallye Breslau begleiten,
umso größere Flächen müssen vom Veranstalter
angemietet, Duschen und Toiletten zur
technischen Aufwand (z.B.
13. Wertung
Die Wertung der einzelnen Etappen wird durch
das Roadbook oder die Fahrerbesprechung
bekanntgegeben. Gewertet wird die Zeit, die ein
kleinste eine Sekunde. Gemessen wird auch die
the camp, map (or just a piece from a map), GPS
coordinates of the camps.
The price includes: catering, key card, technical
support and medical service,costs for
timekeeping and DVD of the Breslau Adventure
Rallye
We ask for understanding that, like in the former
years, it will be more controlled if all persons are
registered. The more persons are present at the
rally, the more area has to be hired, the more
showers and toilets have to be provided, bigger
medical and technical expenses (e.g. kitchen)
have to be covered. Because of all these reasons
it's indispensible to conduct controls. We ask for
understanding and assistance for the Orga that
conducts the control. Only if each participant
cooperates, it is possible to keep the
participation fee under control.
The vehicle whose service or company personnel
is caught without registration and key card
receives 30 minutes penalty. If the person
accompanies more vehicles, the fastest vehicle
in the team will receive the penalty. In addition
to the time penalty there will be a € 600 fine for
the team concerned.
It's not fair to the other participants to use the
services of the organiser without paying for
them!
13. Evaluation
The evaluation of each stage will be announced
through the roadbook or on the drivers’meeting.
Assessed will be the time that a vehicle needs to
drive a given stage. The biggest assessed entity is
an hour, the smallest - a second. Assessed will be
also the time that is needed as an assessment
criteria for a special test or a driven section
Zeit, die für eine Sonderprüfung als
Bewertungskriterium oder für die gefahrene
Strecke zwischen zwei CP´s benötigt wird. Die
Zeiten werden auf der Bordkarte vermerkt,
sowie auf dem Tracker mitgeschrieben. Jeder
anderen Teilnehmer in Wertung).
13.1 Zeiterfassung:
Die Zeiterfassung erfolgt über die bewehrte
Bordkarte, sowie die Aufzeichnung aus dem
Tracker.
Rennbetriebs. Der Tracker ist mit einer Batterie
ausgerüstet, welche bei Stromausfall bis zu 18 h
speichert.
beween two control points. The times will be
saved on the received transponders and on the
control boxes at each start, finish or CP. Each
participant is responsible for submitting the
transponder for reading after reaching the finish.
Only those assessments will be considered that
have been submitted until max. 1 hour after
closing the stage. The length and duration of
each stage will be announced in the road book
or at the meeting. In case of a stage break-up
the organiser must be informed.
At all times the referee committee can make a
separate decision.
To the real drive time come no penalties, when:
- the participant starts on time (also the inter
starts)
- all CP’s have been passed in the proper
direction
- all finish lines have been passed (not
necessarily on one's own, can also be passed
with the help of a band).
13.1 Timing:
The time can be recorded via the board card, as
well as the recording on the tracker. This
includes all the reached points that are to be
reached according to the roadbook. The number
of control points (CP) is much higher that the
CP's listed on the board card. This is because
there are virtual CP’s that can only be read by
the tracker. Therefore, each participant is solely
responsible for the power supply and the
reception of the GPS signal. This obligation is
also valid during actual racing. The tracker is
fitted with a battery which has autonomy of up
to 18 h.
13.2 Zeitwertung:
• 1 Stunde nach dem Start des letzten
Fahrzeuges nach der Startliste wird der Start
geschlossen.
dann aus der Wertung ( DNF – did not finish)
• Es gibt für jede Etappe eine maximale
Fahrzeit (in der Regel 12 Stunden – eventuell bei
schlechter Witterung oder langen Strecken wie
Hanibal wird diese verlängert. Die maximale
Fahrzeit wird auf der Boardkarte beim Start
vermerkt.
Wertungskriterien:
Fahrzeit < Maximale Fahrzeit und alle CP´s
reelle Fahrzeit
Fahrzeit < Maximale Fahrzeit und fehlende CP´s
Fahrzeit + 2 h je fehlende CP
Fahrzeit > Maximaler Fahrzeit und alle CP´s
Maximale Fahrzeit = 12h
Fahrzeit > Maximaler Fahrzeit und fehlende Cp´s
!!!! Mindestens 50% aller CP´s Maximale
Fahrzeit 12 h + 2 h je fehlendem CP
2.Kommt ein Fahrzeug nicht ins Ziel : Etappe
Nicht Beendet //DID NOT FINISH(DNF)
Eine Etappe gilt als nicht beendet,
• wenn das Ziel nicht erreicht wurdeund
der Teilnehmermindestestens 50 %der CP´s hat
• Die Boardkarte nicht bis 8 Uhr früh des
Folgetages zur Auswertung am Infobus
abgegeben wurde.
• Der Teilnehmer vom Besenwagen
eingeholt wurde.
Zeitstrafe für DNF: Maximale Fahrzeit ( in der
Regel 12h – kann jedoch auch abweichen) zzgl. 2
h je fehlenden CP – jedoch maximal 24
3.Startet ein Fahrzeug nicht: Etappe Nicht
Gestartet // DID NOT START (DNS)
• Nicht am Start erschienen
13.2 Time keeping
• 1 hour after the start of the last vehicle on the
start list we will be close the start. Then the
sweeper truck will drive the course and will
collect all broken down vehicles. Vehicles that
the sweeper truck will catch up shall then be out
of the scoring for that day. (DNF)
• There is a maximum time allowed for each
stage (usually 12 hours - possibly in bad weather
or long journeys such as Hannibal this will be
extended, the maximum time allowed is
indicated on the scorecard at the start.
• Introduction of a maximum time allowed and a
maximum time penalty
1. If a vehicle arrives at the Finish there are now
four scoring criterias:
Recorded time < Maximum time allowed and all
CP's Recorded time
Recorded time < Maximum time allowed and
missing CPs Recorded time + 2 hours per
missing CP
Recorded time > Maximum time allowed and all
CPs Maximum time allowed = 12 hours
Recorded time > Maximum time allowed and
missing CPs At least 3 CPs or 50% of the CPs
Maximum time allowed = 12 hours + 2
hours per missing CP
2. If a vehicle doesn’t arrive at the Finish: Stage
not completed / / DID NOT FINISH (DNF)
A stage is not considered finished,
• if the finish was not reached and the
participant has at least 50% of the CPs
• The Scorecard is not handed back by 8.00am
the following day to the Infobus
• The participant has been caught up by the
sweeper truck.
Penalty of DNF: Maximum time allowed (eg 12h)
plus 2 hours for each missing CP - but up to a
maximum of 24 h
3. A vehicle does not start: Stage was not started
/ / DID NOT START (DNS).
• Failure to register/appear at the start
• Gestartet, aber weniger als 50 %
Zeitstrafe für DNS: 28 h ( 2 x Maximale Fahrzeit
zzgl. 4 h)
kontrollieren. Wer dabei ertappt wird, wie er die
bereits geklebten Sticker entfernt, übermalt
oder überklebt, muss damit rechnen, eine Geld-
only with the consent of the organiser.
Sponsors are important for the rallye, for the
participants, they are important for all of us. This
time we will be more cautious and will control
that. Should a participant remove, paint over or
paste over stickers, which have already been
sticked on the vehicle, can receive money or
time penalty. Depending on its seriousness the
Für die Teilnahme an der Abenteuerrallye
Breslau ist eine körperlich gute Verfassung
erforderlich. Der Teilnehmer verpflichtet sich,
den Veranstalter über allfällige gesundheitliche
Probleme in Kenntnis zu setzen. Die Teilnahme
unter Drogen- und Alkoholeinfluss, unter
Psychopharmaka oder dergleichen ist nicht
erlaubt.
startet. Jede Etappe, Sonderprüfung und jeder
für ihn schwierig erscheinender
Streckenabschnitt soll vorher, notfalls per
Augenschein oder Erkundung zu Fuß auf
persönliche Machbarkeit überprüft werden.
Sämtliche Streckenabschnitte, die im Roadbook
vorgegeben sind, kann der Teilnehmer umgehen,
um besondere Schwierigkeiten und Risiken zu
vermeiden. Dies kann Strafzeiten mit sich
bringen, vgl. im Abschnitt „Wertung“. Es gilt
nach wie vor: Risiken ausschließen! Gesundheit
geht vor Platzierung!
Durch die Länge der Rallye, deren lange
Tagesetappen sind
Konzentrationsschwierigkeiten unumgänglich. Es
It's essential for the participation in the
adventure rally Breslau the participant to be in
a good physical condition. The participant is
obliged to inform the organiser about all kind of
health problems. It's forbidden to take part in
the rally under the influence of alcohol, drugs,
and psychotropic’s or similar.
Each participant is aware of the fact that the
rally takes place in a difficult terrain, under
unforeseeable weather conditions and, what's
connected, various road conditions. The speed
of the vehicle should be adjusted to the state
and possibilities of the vehicle and skills of the
driver for the sake of the safety of all
participants.
Individual underestimation of one's driving
experience, defects of the vehicle caused by the
accident or the fatigue of the material, unfair
behaviour and ignoring the advices given in the
regulations as to the safe handling with the
winch are the most frequent causes of accidents,
sometimes even deadth.
It is strongly recommended the state of the
vehicle to be controlled every day.
Each participant has to be aware of the state of
his body and vehicle before he decide to drive
the stage. Each section, special test and each site
that seems difficult has to be first evaluated with
one's own eyes or feet if necessary to be
decided if the possibilities of the vehicle and
driver are adequate.
Some of the sites are not obligatory, i.e. they can
be driven around. This may be followed by
possible time penalty concerning the
“Assessment” paragraph. Like before, it's
important to exclude the unnecessary risk.
Health goes before the placement.
Due to the length of the rally and the stages,
problems with the concentration at some points
are unavoidable. We discourage to continue
Alkoholisiertes Fahren (absolutes Alkoholverbot
darstellen.
Im Fahrgastraum dürfen keine Kunststoff-
Ersatzkanister mitgeführt werden. Feuerfeste
Fahrerbekleidung wird empfohlen, die Montage
eines Feuerlöschers (PKW) bzw. 2 Feuerlöscher
(LKW) sind erforderlich.
Das Betreten des Fahrerlagers kann gefährlich
sein. Im Fahrerlager ist mit
Schrittgeschwindigkeit zu fahren!
Auf Zuschauer und Kleinkinder ist besondere
Rücksicht zu nehmen!
Trotz sorgfältiger und gründlicher Kontrolle der
Roadbooks kann es dennoch vorkommen, dass
sich Fehler einschleichen. Es muss z.B. davon
ausgegangen werden, dass Fremdfahrzeuge
oder Teilnehmer entgegen der Fahrrichtung
fahren, kreuzende Hauptstrassen des
öffentlichen Verkehrs nicht vollständig für die
Veranstaltung abgesperrt werden können usw.
Die Veranstaltung findet teilweise auf
Militärgelände statt. Abweichungen vom
Roadbook können in gesperrte Bereiche führen,
welche aktiv genutzt werden. Jeder Teilnehmer
hat selbst dafür Sorge zu tragen, die
vorgegebene Strecke nicht zu verlassen, bzw.
abzukürzen
Informationen zum Umgang mit der Seilwinde
Dies sind nur unverbindliche nützliche Hinweise
driving despite physical troubles or vehicle
defects.
We ask each participant to report to the
infopoint in the case of a stage breakup to avoid
unnecessary search actions.
It's forbidden to drive under the influence of
alcohol (zero tolerance 0,0 Promille) or other
exhilarating mediums!
It's mandatory to use helmets and safety belts!
Each open vehicle must be equipped with an
attached roll cage. We recommend to attach a
roll cage also at the closed vehicles.
All parts of the vehicle must be firmly fixed to
the vehicle so that they do not endanger the
passengers or the viewers.
It's not allowed to transport plastic canisters in
the cabin, we recommend to wear fireproof
clothes, it's mandatory to have an extinguisher
(one in a car, two in a truck).
Trespassing the camp area can be dangerous.
The obligatory speed in the camp is the walking
pace speed.
Pease take a special notice of little children and
other viewers.
Despite the careful and thorough control of the
roadbooks it's always possible that a mistake
creeps in. It may happen that a foreign vehicle
drives against the flow, the crossed main roads
will not be closed off, etc.
The event takes place in a military area.
Deviations from the road book may lead to the
closed areas that are actively used. Each
participant is responsible for staying on the
route and avoiding shortcuts.
Infos about the usage of the winch
Here you can find some non-binding useful hints
von namhaften Windenherstellern und
erfahrenen Rallyepiloten. Sie dienen als
Hilfestellung. Um 100% sicher zu gehen sollen
jedoch die gültigen Betriebsanleitungen und
Arbeitsanweisungen befolgt werden.
Welche Zugkraft wird benötigt?
Die Zugkraft der Seilwinde sollte mindestens das
1.5-fache des zulässigen Gesamtgewichtes des
Fahrzeuges betragen. Zugkraft = Hubkraft (auf
unterster Seillage), also senkrechter Hub !
Befestigung der Seilwinde:
Vorzugsweise sollten typenspezifische
Montagesysteme verwendet werden. Diese
werden von den Windenhändlern angeboten.
Eigenbauten müssen immer auf die Zugkraft der
Seilwinde ausgelegt sein. Das gilt natürlich auch
für Abschleppösen, Haken, Schäkel.
Anhängerkupplungen sollte man nicht als
Montage/ Anschlagpunkt für leistungsstarke
Seilwinden benutzen! Diese sind in der Regel für
max. 3.5 Tonnen rollende Last zugelassen, nicht
für eine 4 Tonnen - Seilwinde, die mit
Umlenkrolle 8 Tonnen auf den Haken bringt!
Bei Verwendung von Umlenkrollen, den
Seilhaken nicht an der Seilwindenhalterung
einhängen, sondern an den Abschlepphaken!
Windenzubehör:
Um die Seilwinde effektiv und gefahrlos
einzusetzen, sollte man einiges Zubehör dabei
haben.
a.) Arbeitshandschuhe aus Leder oder rauhe,
gummierte Industriehandschuhe.
b.) Ein Verzurrgurt leistet gute Dienste als gut
greifbare Zughilfe beim Abrollen und als
Distanzstück beim Aufrollen des Windenseiles.
c.) Zwei Baumgurte von 2 Meter Länge zur
schonenden Befestigung des Seilhakens oder
der Umlenkrolle am Anschlagpunkt.
d.) Zwei Schäkel, in hochfester Ausführung, in
U- oder Omega-Form. Nur DIN geprüfte Schäkel
mit entsprechender Tragfähigkeit verwenden.
e.) Eine Umlenkrolle zum Verdoppeln der
Zugkraft, Schonen des Windenmotors und
besserem Nutzen der Anschlagpunkte.
Grundregeln
from popular winch producers and experienced
rally drivers for your assistance, of course in
addition to the valid instruction manuals and
operation instructions .
How strong winch do I need?
The pulling force of the winch should be at least
1,5 times bigger than the total weight of the
vehicle. Pulling force = lifting force, i.e. the
vertical force.
Fixing the winch:
It's recommended to use typical montage
systems offered by the winch sellers. Individual
constructions must be relevant to the pulling
force. The same relates also to the endings of
the tow lug, hooks, and shackles.
Do not use the tow hook as a fixing point of the
winch! They are usually adjusted to the rolling
load of 3,5 t, and not to a winch of 4 t pulling
force that with a pulley block holds out a load of
8 t!
While using the pulley block do not fix the rope
to the fixing of the winch, but to the hook
destined to pull the car!
Winch accessories:
In order to fix a winch safely and efficiently you
need the following devices:
a) leather work gloves, rubberised inside
b) hook bands are useful while unrolling and
furling the rope offthe winch
c) two tree-protective bands 2 meter for
attaching the lashing cleat or pulley block to the
fixing point
d) two shackles of good quality, the U or omega
shape. Use only the shackles that fulfil the
norms of the adequate strength.
e) the pulley block to double the traction force,
protect the engine of the winch and better use
of the fixing point.
Basic rules:
Die Betriebsanleitung ihrer Seilwinde
gewissenhaft durchlesen und im KFZ
deponieren.
a.) Ruhe bewahren, geplant und überlegt
vorgehen!
b.) Anschlagpunkte kritisch prüfen! Bäume,
Haken an Fremd-KFZ, etc.
c.) Handschuhe anziehen!
d.) Personen aus dem Gefahrenbereich
verweisen!
e.) Niemals mit den Händen am gespannten Seil
ziehen!!
f.) Das Windenseil nie zum Abschleppen
benutzen!
g.) Niemals das Windenseil mit dehnbaren
Gurten etc. verlängern! Peitscheneffekt !
h.) Bei extremer Seilspannung die Motorhaube
als Schutz hochklappen; Jacke oder Decke auf
das Seil legen.
i.) Bei seitlichem Ziehen, die Vorderräder in
Zugrichtung einschlagen! Der Reifen kann sonst
von der Felge gedrückt werden.
a.) Wählen Sie einen Anschlagpunkt in
Fahrzeugnähe, der möglichst in Zugrichtung der
Winde liegt.
b.) Schalten Sie die Winde auf Freilauf,
befestigen Sie den Verzurrgurt am Seilhaken.
c.) Handschuhe anziehen und den Baumgurt am
Anschlagpunkt befestigen. Der Baumgurt sollte
möglichst tief angebracht sein. Beide Gurtenden
mit dem Schäkel verbinden.
d.) Das Windenseil in den Schäkel des
Baumgurtes einhängen ( Auf der Seilwinde
müssen immer 5 Lagen Seil verbleiben!! ).
e.) Den Freilauf der Winde abschalten und die
Fernbedienung anschliessen, Seil leicht spannen!
f.) Achten Sie darauf, das sich niemand im
Gefahrenbereich befindet !
Read carefully the handbook of the winch and
store it in your vehicle.
a) Stay calm, handle intended and sensible!
b) Check carefully the fixing point (trees, hooks
at the pulling vehicle, etc.)!
c) Put on the gloves!
d) Remove persons from the reach range of the
rope!
e) Never touch the strained rope!
f) Never use the winch rope for towing!
g) Never prolong the rope with elastic bands!
The whiplash effect!
h) During the maximal strain of the line pull the
bonnet up to protect the driver, hang some
sweaters or jackets on the rope.
i) During a side pulling turn the front wheels in
the driving direction! Otherwise the tire may get
off the rim.
j) Rely on your knowledge and realise the
responsibility. In doubt ask other participants for
help - they'll certainly help you gladly.
Using the winch:
Your vehicle is stuck and you have to use your
winch.
a) Choose the nearest fixing point.
b) Switch your winch on the idle, fix the ropes to
the hook.
c) Put on the gloves and put the protective band
around the tree (possibly low). Join the ends of
the band with a shackle.
d) Hang the rope up the band around the tree
with a shackle (5 layers of the line must always
remain on the winch!!!)
e) Swich off the idle running, strain the line
slightly!
f) Check if other persons do not stand in the
reach of the line!
g) Sit behind the wheel with the winch remote
control and start the engine.
h) Furl the line; you can help the winch a little
with your car but avoid rapid and strong pulling
movements backwards.
i) Stop the action every now and then to spare
h.) Ziehen Sie das Windenseil ein, Sie können
die Bergeaktion mit dem Fahrzeug unterstützen.
Vermeiden Sie jedoch ruckartige Schläge auf das
Windenseil!
i.) Legen Sie Pausen ein, um den Windenmotor
und die Fahrzeugbatterie zu schonen. Eine
durchgebrannte Seilwinde zahlt Ihnen keiner
der umstehenden Besserwisser!!
j.) Wenn das Fahrzeug wieder Vortrieb hat,
Motor laufenlassen, Handbremse an.
versperren. Die Umlenkrolle verdoppelt die
Zugkraft der Seilwinde , wenn das Seil in
Richtung des Zugfahrzeuges zurückläuft.
Befestigen Sie den Seilhaken nicht an der
Windenhalterung, sondern am Abschlepphaken.
Die Windenhalterung müsste ansonsten das
Doppelte der normalen Zugkraft aufnehmen!
Wartung der Seilwinde:
Das Windenseil auf Bruch und Quetschstellen
untersuchen, defekte Seile austauschen!
Das Windenseil immer ordentlich und unter
Spannung aufrollen, reinigen und ölen!
Baumgurte, Schäkel, Abschlepphaken,
Windenbefestigung überprüfen!
Nach Tauchfahrten die Funktion überprüfen,
korrodierte Relais und Rost sind die
Hauptursache bei Defekten.
Die Steckverbindungen der Fernbedienung
gelegentlich mit Kontaktspray besprühen.
Tipp´s & Trick´s:
Auf der Seilwinde müssen immer 5 Seillagen
verbleiben, kleben Sie diese mit Panzerband fest.
Führen Sie 3 Seilklemmen in passender Größe
reparieren. Die Schraubenköpfe immer entgegen
des Seilendes drehen!!
the winch engine and the battery. No "better
knowing" viewer will pay you back for the burnt
winch!!
j) When the vehicle regains the run leave the
engine on and pull the hand brake.
k) Loosen the rope and free it from the fixing
point, put on the gloves and furl the rope evenly.
Pay attention to the rope so that it doesn't slide
on the gloves, it's better to catch it repeatedly.
Using the pulley block:
The pulley block is used to protect the winch
against overloading, to pull out other vehicles or
obstacles in the way, etc. The pulley block
doubles the strength of the winch. Do not fix the
rope to the fixing point of the winch but to the
hook. The fixing point of the winch is not
adjusted to hold the double load!
Maintenance of the winch:
Check if the winch does not have some ruptures
or other defects, exchange the defected rope!
Always roll the line carefully, slightly tensed,
clean it and oil.
Check te state of the protective bands, shackles,
hooks and fixing points of the winch! Having
driven through the water check the functioning,
corroded relay and mildew are the main reason
of defects.
Connectors of the remote control preserve with
a spray for the electric connections.
Tips & tricks:
5 layers of the rope must always remain on the
winch, the best way is to stick them to the
winch with a special band.
Always have 3 clamps for joining ropes, if a hook
falls off, you'll be able to fix it on site.
It's good to have battery booster cable and
Starthilfekabel sind immer gute Helfer in der
Not, destilliertes Wasser schadet keinem.
Schäkel nie ganz fest zudrehen, lieber eine halbe
Umdrehung zurück, dann geht´s ohne Zange
auch wieder auf.
Gerauhte Gummihandschuhe werden, in
Schlamm und Wasser, nicht so schlüpfrig wie
Lederhandschuhe.
Wissenswertes:
Bei Seilwinden immer auf die Hublast achten!
Manche Hersteller werben mit 15 Tonnen
Zuglast. Das bezieht sich dann aber auf rollende
Lasten auf glattem Untergrund!!
Bei Baumgurten und Schleppgurten wird oft die
Bruchlast angegeben. Teilen Sie diese durch den
Faktor 7, verbleiben oft nur 500kg Arbeitslast
nach DIN !
Hebebänder und Kranschlingen nach DIN haben
meist 7fache Sicherheit. Das bedeutet, das ein
mit 3 Tonnen Arbeitslast angegebenes Band, 21
Tonnen Bruchlast hat !
Vor No-Name Schäkeln sei gewarnt, DIN
geprüfte Ware verfügt über Kennzeichnungen
auf dem Schäkel und kostet nur unwesentlich
mehr!
Die Belastbarkeit von Stahlseilen hängt sehr
stark von deren Aufbau ab. Nicht jedes Stahlseil
ist für Seilwinden geeignet. Unterschreiten Sie
bei einem Austausch des Seiles niemals den
Durchmesser des Originalseiles.
Sollten mehrere Fahrzeuge nebeneinander
verlassen. Eine Inbetriebnahme der Seilwinde ist
sonst nicht zu verantworten und zu unterlassen!
Umweltrechtliche Bestimmungen
Die Einhaltung aller einschlägigen
umweltrechtlichen Bestimmungen,
insbesondere bezüglich des Umgangs mit
Kraftstoffen und Schmiermitteln, ist erforderlich.
distillatory water with you.
Do not tighten the shackle very strongly, it's
better to leave half a rotation back - it saves you
from using the gripper later.
Rubberised gloves do not go in pieces as fast as
the leather ones in mud and water.
Good to know:
If you want to buy a winch pay attention to the
lifting force! Some sellers advertise 15 t of
pulling force. However, that refers to the rolling
weight on a smooth surface!
At the protective and towing bands a breaking
force is given. Divide it through 7, and, according
to the DIN norm, only 500 kg of working force
usually remains.
Different types of bands usually have 7-time
safety. That means that a band with the 3 t of
the working load takes 21 t of the breaking load!
Be careful with the no-name shackles. Shackles
that fulfill the DIN norms have a number pressed
on them and cost little more!
The capacitance of the steel rope depends much
on its structure. Not every steel rope can be
used with a winch. While exchanging the rope
never diminish its diameter!
In the case when more than one vehicle use a
winch next to each other all are obliged to be
specially careful so that nobody gets hurt and
that the ropes do not cross. Persons who stand
within the reach of the winch rope must be
asked to step back. Otherwise do not start the
winch!!!
Environment-friendly regulations
können nicht abgeschleppt werden. Hier ist
gegenseitige Hilfe der LKW Teilnehmer oder des
Serviceteams notwendig. Die Bergung erfolgt auf
Risiko des Teilnehmers. Schäden die durch die
Bergung entstehen, werden nicht von der
Organisation übernommen. Die Organisation
führt zur Bergung von liegen gebliebenen
Fahrzeugen mehrere Fahrzeuge mit. Bei Bergung
aus schwierigen Situationen ist auch die Mithilfe
der Teilnehmer erforderlich. Für eine
erfolgreiche Bergung kann keine Garantie
übernommen werden. Für Bergekosten,
Gebühren oder die Unterstützung durch Dritte
ist der Teilnehmer selbst verantwortlich. Er hat
die entsprechenden Kosten zu tragen. Der
Weitertransport von defekten Fahrzeugen ab
dem Fahrerlager liegt in der Verantwortung des
Teilnehmers.
